I guess this would be a good time to go clean my tank. :?:
Oh, we rarely stay on any topic too long! In fact, I'll be doing Buffy's squash soufflé recipe to go along with the meatload & fried okra we're having for dinner here. What's everybody else got planned?
Oh, and BTW, Happy BD to Mr. Robin! I know what ya'll are having.

Oh AB, ((((HUGS)))) We didn't have kids. Sorry no advice to give on that.
But it sounds like you need a vacation, or at least an afternoon on the water in that new boat!!

My sister is in a similar boat with one of her adult children, and the main babysitter for her two. So, I've been going through this with her, I've been the one on the receiving end of her ventilation.;) Funny (well, not funny), but interesting that this is such a common thing. Well raised kids taking advantage of their parents. You don't draw the line because the children may suffer. But maybe you should address previously established boundaries, or establish some (maybe). Girl, I don't know, I haven't had any good answers for my sister either. I'd say tough love if it weren't for the grandbabies. So I can offer prayers for ya.

Charm, dinner is going to be BBQ pork steaks (well charred, be still my heart), mac n cheese, and I'm not sure what else, maybe broccoli or brussel sprouts.

I'm not sure I'm getting something...

Why is there push-back from my gender about pics of Depp?

Others of my gender (and sexual orientation) enjoy looking at visually stimulating ladies and tend to get huffy if somebody complains. Given the gender distribution of this thread, it would seem to me to be an expected thing for the ladies to enjoy posting / viewing visually stimulating men.

Or am I going down a road best not traveled?

I don't recall seeing any 80's era pics...

Now you can't say that

Even back then he was a Captain Jack Sparrow in training...

Is it photos of young Johnny Depp, of 1980's era 21 Jump Street, or today's middle aged Johnny Depp, living in France and behaving like Marlon Brando?

I don't recall seeing any 80's era pics... but then, I'm not a Depp-ophile... :)

Oh, and hiya Deej! How's LDTL?
long distance true love

Hiya Charm! Given the circumstances, the LDTL is going well :)

It's under stress as she works on normalizing (to the extent possible) life. I can relate to a high degree, so I try to be "there" but not in the way of what needs doing. We'll both be happy when the current upset gives way to relative tranquility.

No worries Digi. It's all been in fun. Nobodies upset about the Depp pics. The ladies were kind enough to share some hit lady pics last week. :) and way more appropriate for the forum then anything i can find and post. ;)

Well, she picked you, so obviously "normal" isn't high on her list.....;)
Just being there is all you really can do a lot of times, and it does help.
