Good morning Lurkers! :)

Anyone have fun plans for the day? I'm going to continue going through paperwork. Ahhhh the reckoning day from successful past procrastination.......not sure that makes sense.

We had another chilly morning here. Warming up again over the next few days.

Dale, sorry you couldn't go to church. :(

Does grocery shopping at Wal-mart count as fun?

Change of plans with shopping at wal-mart...CASAA just posted this to the FB page regarding e-cigs...
Thought I'd share with the lurkers.

"Wal-Mart, which employes about 1.3 million people nationally, has been charging tobacco users higher insurance premiums for about three years and recently added e-cigarettes to the list, said spokesman Randy Hargrove."

Dale, can we ask what pain you are experiencing from vaping?

 Hi Dale...You called me out and everybody left. :( What''s a guy to do???

    Hey Steve
Sorry about that, DH & Bela drove in from Church just as I said that:oops:
So we had to have lunch.
Sure you can ask about that, I have Burning Mouth Syndrome or otherwise known as Menopause in the mouth.
LOL, aren't you glad you asked?!

Hate to run off & leave you again but it's Bela's nap time & we're going to take one together ... I hope!

    Morning.
I made beef stroganoff with brisket last nite. It was ok.
Today I'm cooking chicken breasts but with all the football it should be hot dogs and chili.
Yesterday I slept all day. Now I'm sore from laying down.

    Hey GG
I'm not a big fan of brisket either ... where is Lis with that recipe?
Maybe you need to take a walk if that's possible to relieve your soreness?

That was quite an articule Steve, I had no idea ... guess I shouldn't be surprised:(

Wow, how many of us have forgotten this image?

    art.sonny.cher.show.file.gi.jpg

They say we're young and we
    don't know
We won't find out until we grow
Well I don't know if all that's true
'Cause you got me, and baby
    I got you
    Babe, I got you Babe
    I got you Babe

They say our love won't pay
    the rent
    Before it's earned our money's
    all been spent
    I guess that's so, we don't
    have a pot
But at least I'm sure of all the
    things we got
    Babe, I got you Babe
    I got you Babe

I got flowers in the spring
I got you to wear my ring
    And when I'm sad you're a clown
And if I get scared you're
    always around

So let them say your hair's
    too long
'Cause I don't care, with you
    I can't do wrong
Then put your little hand in mine
There ain't no hill or mountain
    we can't climb
    Babe, I got you Babe
    I got you Babe

I got you to hold my hand
    I got you to understand
I got you to walk with me
I got you to talk with me
I got you to kiss goodnight
I got you to hold me tight
    I got you, I won't let go
I got you to love me so

    I got you Babe
    I got you Babe

Be not angry that you cannot make others as you wish them to be, since you cannot make yourself as you wish to be. ~Thomas à Kempis, Imitation of Christ, c.1420

You've got a lot of choices. If getting out of bed in the morning is a chore and you're not smiling on a regular basis, try another choice. ~Steven D. Woodhull (U.S. geologist, 1976-)

Anyone can carry his burden, however hard, until nightfall. Anyone can do his work, however hard, for one day. Anyone can live sweetly, patiently, lovingly, purely, till the sun goes down. And this is all life really means. ~Robert Louis Stevenson

If you don't like how things are, change it! You're not a tree. ~Jim Rohn

In what you say of another, apply the test of kindness, necessity and truth, and let nothing pass your lips without a 2/3 majority. ~Liz Armbruster,

See everything; overlook a great deal; correct a little. ~Pope John XXIII

Brisket is ok as a meat. Not a good steak but its meat. Good in things that have a lot of flavor like beef taco/enchilada.
Wonder if it would work in chili...

Lis I'd love to try that recipe

OK, it is known as ropa vieja (old clothes )

I use a pressure cooker to do it, I have not idea the time using another device

I put one pound into my cooker with 6 cups of water and let it cook for about 45 minutes or it is tender, after that I take 2 forks and work on the meat to make threads, on a fry pan you are going to put red onions, garlic, green or red pepper and let them cook on a low fire for about 4 or 5 minutes then ad the meat and some wine a little bit of lemon and tomatoes sauce, the other season is up to you

I know my explanation is short but I am a hell trying to explain my mind :(

Sounds fine to me Lis :)
