Are you part of the organization/fostering family, or did you mean when you get pets you adopt from the rescues?
Any favorite breed?

We belong to ABC Basset Rescue. We do all you mentioned above plus more. We do the home checks and the whole nine yards. We ourselves have taken 8 dogs for fostering over the years.

Wow, that's awesome!!! I've thought about fostering, but I'd keep them all. Tom, I have to say, that would be a LOT OF SLOBBER.

That's prob the closest anyone would get to herding cats I would imagine.

Jerry, we're all geezers to some degree. I teased Rhonda about being Grannie, and I honestly think I'm older than she is.


I hate to leave such good company, but I'm going to say goodnight. I'm going to watch TV a bit, then head to bed. I'm sooooooo far off my normal sleep schedule, and 5:30 is going to be brutal for me in the morning, I'm afraid.
