LB swung through of all things

I only had the bloodwork today. THREE sticks. Stick #2, she pushed and fished around trying to get it to go. #3rd, she used a butterfly in the top of my had....UGH, for 4 tubes....I'm going to have some nice bruises no doubt.

Dale, have you had gyros with beef before?? If you like them with beef, try it next time with lamb. It's a very mild tasting meat. I've really never had anything that tasted gamey. (? gamey, not sure if that's a word, but that's what we call it)
Have you tried Baklava before?? That's really good too!!! Nom, nom, nom!!

Dave, I'm with ya. I came back after my bloodwork, put my pj's back on and went back to bed. I didn't get up until 20 after 10 this a.m., but I tossed and turned all night last night. I felt like a zombie heading out this a.m. (in the PITCH dark) to go to the lab.

We watched the movie "The Lords of Salem" written and directed by Rob Zombie.

I love anything by Rob Zombie whether it be his music or movies but this movie was not very good. Pretty disturbing actually lol

Tonight we are going to a late showing of the new Carrie movie after the tigers force a game 7 tonight

Do you have any Greek restaurants around? If you like onions, tomato, and cucumbers, I bet you would LOVE them. You can get them without the veggies. But they are just oh soooooo good. Some places may even let you taste a piece of the lamb. Most offer beef or lamb.

Baklava hurts my teeth too. One side worse than the other.

I'm not being a sloth either. Trying to do laundry & clean, etc.

DH is on a Lowe's run for a new dehumidifier. He noticed our runs, but doesn't produce any water. He took the back off it and it's all rusted through and we apparently lost our freon, so it's shot. Always something, ehh??

Oh, okay...so, Chim will have a shorter day today. That's good.

I have not heard of any of the movies you mentioned Dave. Maybe I did hear they were remaking Carrie though. I don't like disturbing movies. They give me bad dreams.

We are going to watch "Lincoln" tonight. DH has it recorded.

We have a place in the mall that makes Gyro's ... well we did, I haven't been there in months.
I'm sure it's not the same. After cutting & wrapping those poor little things I don't really want any Lamb meat ... looks kind of like a naked dog hanging in the cooler

All but Christian were very good and they spent quite a bit of time outside in the yard It's beautiful here but very cool! Christian is a bit ... okay, a big baby

As to the dehumidifier ... sorry to hear that
We have been very fortunate not to have to do much to our place so far, well except for replacing the stinking hot water heater a couple of times. But yes, it almost always occur's at the worst possible times!

Not sure what time Chim will get off ... I'm thinking 9 p.m. since the other manager is gone?

That Lincoln movie? That's not the one where they portray him as some kind of vampire killer is it?!
