Oh hon :)
Back in I think the 80's there was a bunch of stuff in the news about how people found bandaid's in their burger's and supposedly a finger in someone's chili

Probably not even true ;)

Oh yuck! I do remember hearing stories about fingers in the chilli many years ago. It was never on the news or anything but I wouldn't eat it for a while because the thought made my stomach turn.

There ya' go ;) You do remember.

Yes I do! I remember when I worked at McDonalds back in high school...taught me 1 thing...always order your food with one exception...no mayo, no onion, extra pickle...something. That guarantees it's fresh (hopefully...works most of the time). And I'd always cook my own food when I was there too. Hehehe!!

Hehehe! Yes I did. And believe it or not it was really fun. I started working there when I was 15 after begging the parents to let me have a job. I saved up money to but my first car. And for my birthday they matched what I'd saved to help me make my down payment & I agreed to pay my car note every month. Ahhh...good memories:)

Huh! We had to be 16 or 17 years old before it was legal for us to do that here. I was 17 when I went to work for Exxon ... now that was a fun job! :D And I had a old ford falcon that was a blast to do donut's in ;)

When I started you had to be 15 but you could only work weekends. My first car was a little Geo Metro. It was nothing special but I paid for it so I was super proud! It didn't even have power steering. Lol! My arms were really nice back then:lol:

I have played with an idea of making a pouch that holds only the protank, allowing the battery and the button to slide through and putting it on cord... Haven't tried it yet, but it would cushion the tank but allow you to push the button without having to remove it from the pouch. Like I said though, just thought about it, never acted on it...

Great minds.... I've been trying to think of something too. You now those neoprene type can coolers? I was thinking you could sew them to fit a tooter real good and even cut a hole for the button (wouldn't ravel). Seems like an easy project that I am going to try. If it works out I will post pics. Good idea though. I keep a ego style battery on a lanyard around my neck. Heck it's the only way I can tell if I'm awake. heehee

I thought you might like that one! Rat2chat2 created a monster when she showed me how to do that... View attachment 279673
Yep! She did... now I'm all that!!!
Did you want yucky??? You could have mine... If it doesn't include moisture I don't really like it much...

The monster was always there..........I just left the door unlocked. bahahahaha Groucho.gif

When you see one you like you right click and tell it to save image as and it saves to your computer and you just use it when you want it... the hardest part is keeping them sorted so you can find them when you want them... I finally put folders in the folder so I had a half a chance of finding the one I want...

Right click and rename them something easy for you to recall. bathtub, cow, dishes, You Go Girl. Just what I do.

Bugs is my all time favorite cartoon character. :thumb: He's really a Character, isn't he?

He wears no britches, because he's too smart for them.

    Never worked for me............ heehee

Not here, hon. I'm in Central Louisiana. We were in the 80's today, and it's about 75o out now.

So you just live there? Your not a real "coonass"? I mean that affectionately. My husband went to Nashville Auto Diesel School in TN and there was a real LA man there and that is what they called him. He was a hoot and a half. Loved him.

I know how that home is where thing is!

Cake is a compressed hay with grain, vitamins, suppliments and minerals to increase the protein during cold months when they need a little extra. The hay gives the extra bulk that isn't there as they eat off the grass from the summer. Always fun to watch peoples faces when you tell them you feed the cows cake! :)

Don't ruin my idea of what you are feeding those cows.............. IMG_6267.jpg

Ummm, you know ... when women get old they stop doing certain things and uh ... get hot alot?

hotflash.jpgI'm looking forward to a "hot flash", I can't remember ever having warm feet. heehee

I wasn't really either until I started eating more salads. They have good salads, and I love their chili with cheese. :D

They really do. Haven't been there in a while. Want to go now. Their chili is good too especially if you pour it over a baked potato. heehee

NOT TRUE snopes.com: Finger Found in Wendy's Chili? Here is a picture of the woman who is still in jail. correction-wendy-finger.jpg She scares me. Of course their could be other instances. I don't know.... I couldn't put my finger on any. heehee

Thanks........loved reading all the posts. Sorry I wasn't here much today. After the juice contest I was tired and then supper with Dad. Then I took a little Fat Cat Nap in the o'l recliner. I'm still tired so I'm off to bed soon.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday. Guess I better do some housework since Robin sent the bunnies over here. I hardly ever dust.... but I use the blow dryer. Does a great job in a hurry. heehee

    Hugs2all ya'll

Don't know about the 80's and band aids, but in '95 I found a couple of teeth in not one, but two burgers *right in a row!!* at a fast food joint.
