Lurking?? How to find a home within all the forums and threads?

I do feel that way too sometimes.

I paid $600 for the car i drive. And i fix it myself when it breaks. If i won the lottery, i'd still drive my $600 Subaru.

Likewise, when i started out, i started out with an ego-t kit. I didnt like the atomizers because i always got dry hits and burnt tastes. I got a couple of tanks-- vivi nova and the evod. I got frustrated with them for the same reason. I just DOWNGRADED TECHNOLOGY and bought a pack of blank Boge cartomizers for my two ego batteries. And even though im constantly adding drops (i top it off about the likeness of every cigarette or two i would have smoked), im happy in my simplicity, just like with my cheap subaru!!!!!

Because im semi-simple, and i have no desire for a Provari or a Spinner, or for any other tank systems or rewick builds, etc, im not as proactive in this forum's discussions either. But, i am an avid reader and watcher like yourself-- ive learned a lot and it keeps my mind off the ole analogs!!

Simple and cheap or not, Im still a vaper. Simple and cheap and i dont have to worry about my expensive car having exlensive problems. And whether or not we post a lot, a community requires some of its members to relax, lean back, learn, and enjoy!!!

You fit in fine, heavy poster or not!!!!!! :D
Yup~ I don't post as much either..but still find information (after all, that's one of the reasons we came on here, right? To find information?) And this place has SOOOO much it's no wonder many of us don't post--we're too busy reading, lol..

And I've been a "basic" vaper myself--with a plain ol' ciggy style battery (probably only 300 mAh if that) and the prefilled carts that came with them until a few weeks ago when I "upgraded" to a Riva 510T 650 mAh...now I feel like I'm in heaven...just ordered a Spinner (1300 mAh) cuz I like not having to charge every few hours. Still, the filling part doesn't bother me much, as I do more direct dripping than anything else. No matter "how" we get there, the result is the same--maybe stronger or weaker, but it is still vaping...Vape on, right? :)

I've boiled cartomizers before when I used them.....take'm out after 15 minutes of boiling

Fill saucepan with fresh water and boil them again for 15 minutes...

Then put them on a cookie sheet, set oven to 200 degrees and let them bake dry.

My cartos were stainless steel, if yours have the black tape on them don't bake them.

they are just about like brand new when done

oh, btw....STORMY invited me + linked me here
:)

Good evening all!! Wow, y'all have been chatty, LOL....I'm so far behind I think I'm first............:lol::lol:

I tried to keep up today at work, but THAT didn't work out, gave up after lunch...and now I'm headed to watch TV with hubby....

I'll try to get caught back up, but at this rate, maybe I should just go back to lurking...LOLOL!!!

.......course you're all prob in bed by now....:vapor::vapor:

Noooo! Do not go back to lurking!!! Stay with us, we  you!

I'm headed to bed too, but just to warn GG, I'm probably going to put up an avatar pic tomorrow.....nite all!

That's great cause you don't even have one yet ... right:confused:

It was me :) I put the carto in the rubber thing on my steamer and steam it till I do t smell it any more. Works great. But it's messy. Towel to catch the steam and tongs to make sure it does get in the hole. And since its steam they are pretty dry right after but I give them a couple hours before I load em up.

    Cool :thumb:

I'll look for the change :) thanks for the warning :) everything is so small on a phone it's hard to just read names.

Ugh! I can't even imagine! Had to increase the size of print on my computer screen because everything was getting blurry! And it's 22 inches!!!

I'll be up for a bit yet kid in tub :) only reason I worry is be curls up when he sleeps.

You gotta get that kid a shower!

boy it just rained something fierce here for about 5 mins and just blew right over :( it's been so humid for the last 2 days I was hopping it would rain for a while and take the humid away

We got TONS of rain yesterday & last night - it was wonderful! :)

I sure hope you are right darlin, I started these symptoms in my mid 30's, the women in my family are blessed with this problem at an early age lmao.

I started late 30's and continued right into my 50's:glare:. So far this year I'm in the clear - praying it stays away!!!

What changes are we looking for? Not caught up yet...cliff notes..we gonna have to do em

LOL's Stormy, the dreaded M word!!! For women, you know...

I see you, Angelsbreath!! >Waves!!

Layla - I must have missed you somewhere back there in all the confusion:laugh: Great to see you! I'm pretty basic myself, ego's with something to hold my juice is about it:laugh:

    Well Stormy - it's not cliff notes but it's close ... right:confused:

I know! I'm probably one of the longest lurkers! 4 years of reading and learning, figured it was about time I got in on the action....but first I must watch the office finale lol

Good to see you here :) I am like you ('cept I didn't lurk quite that long--not that I wouldn't have)...now I finally joined the bandwagon and it's been awesome!

I'm so happy you are here layla darlin! This is a great thread to come to to just relax and chill and have a good time.
Look who's playing "lurker" now, Stormy.

    :p
hahahahaha Stormy is our wonderful hostess, she's just making sure everyone is being taken care of here ;)

Wife works half a day today, its nice having her home in the morning when I'm laid up with this dam sciaticca. I've had it 10 days now it can last up to 3-4 weeks.

Hope it leaves me soon. Just bought a house in late January and the complete restoration is 90% done. It didn't need all that much.

Replaced two floors, painted 2 rooms, and painted the foundations of both the house and garage. Did 2 sets of concrete steps with Rustoleum "RESTORE" (10x as thick as paint, dries to a stucco finish)

2 coats on each set of steps, that stuff is a royal PITA to work with. Its like mortar, SO thick.

One coat looks like this (diggin up a pic)

Hiya new peeps!! Grab a seat....if DJ didn't take them all to get refinished. I've gotten into the habit of bring my own, he always gives my seat away to newcomers :glare: Not that you shouldn't have a seat....why doesn't he give His seat up? Hmmm?

I've wondered about that myself Robin??? Maybe we need to confront him about that!

I'm trying to get up to speed without reading prior pages. I'm guessing DJ is Robino's better or other half?

LOL:laugh: Nah, not so, we've had so few fella's we've had to share:laugh:
