No baby, not a bit of luck, I wish I could just take a year off work lmao...oh how I wish! How was your day darlin?

Angel, I'm not sure what the laws are like in AL, but can you draw unemployment there? In GA, you can after a penalty period, even if you were let go "for cause" (obviously not what happened in your case, but that's probably what the paperwork says, those evil bastages). I also think your hubby had the right idea, getting you out so quick, but don't get discouraged if it takes a while. Putting in applications & doing interviews are skills, so think of each one as practice!

Why thank you sir, some people call me smart but they usually put another word at the end of it ;) I don't think I'm too smart or I would be making loads of money right now lmao. I have an associates in Networking and another associates in Programming and here I sit hehehehe

I think you'll be fine, Angel. I have faith in you.

I did file for unemployment, it takes 2 weeks to start so I'm praying that I get it and that the company doesn't fight me on it. That would be awful, I don't want to fight over anything! I just feel like I need a little break from all the stress, ya know?

On interviews, pretend you don't need the job. My last job, when I interviewed for it, I didn't really want to go back to work. I had been off for a year but hubby was hinting strongly about me getting one. I couldn't fail the tests on purpose, that's just not in my nature. I couldn't not present myself in a way that would guarantee my not getting the job. Again, not in my nature. What I was, was totally relaxed and not nervous at all.

I got the job much to hubby's delight.

Yeah, that's what I was saying, that's all I want, just a little bit of time before I go pounding the pavement and trying to get back into the rat race. I don't want a lot of time, just a little bit of time to clear my head and de-stress.

After the summer I know hubby will start bugging me again. My only rebuttal, every time I work it puts us in a higher tax bracket and we end up owing at the end of the year. This last tax year, I didn't work and we got money back :D

It actually pays if I don't work. Let's see how long that works for me. ;)

LOL! That reminds me of the time I went to Safeway (yeah, so what, I'm old) to buy some apples & left with an unwanted job!
