Bunnie, don't know exactly where you are, but you can always drive down to Ringgold, GA. Go to the courthouse, get license application, go across the street to get blood tests, go back to the courthouse to get your license, then back across the street to the lab, where they conveniently keep a minister on the premises, who performs the ceremony for a "donation" to his church. That's what DH & I did. Start to finish in less than 2 hours, any non-holiday week day. And a little known fact - both Dolly Parton & Johnny Cash were married there....

Pretty cool about Dolly & Johnny though! I ended up finding this : TN Marriage License Laws Calling when the "local" (two towns over) Courthouse opens up to check and see if they are going to be open on the 5th of July, and get the rest of the details of have-to things and such.
