Well of course we do Stormy, but this time was just a super thunderstorm with TONS of rain. And Lori, we are fine, as a matter of fact, I see just now that the sun is trying to shine That is terrible about the guys in Scott Co.; one was a forest ranger no less
My husband & I (many many years ago in a land far far away) went across town to see Conway Twitty (who was a no-show). Our son was two but not with us; I however was about 8 months pregnant with our daughter at the time. Lo and Behold, due to the fact that Conway didn't show & we didn't care for the replacement we left early; imagine our shock when we exited the building & found ourselves in a major storm with MUCH flooding. Whoo! The water rose half-way up the sides of our car as we attempted to get back home, it took a long time & we had to take some strange routes to get there. Needless to say we felt very blessed to be safely back home with our sweet baby boy!

Right, we live about 40 miles East of St. Louis, so yes...not good....but Stormy scared me cuz it's really crappy now on the edge of St. Louis, just parked there dumping rain, but today, I'm at work, which is about 30 miles from St. Louis.

Okay, I added mine to my profile. I don't want to change my avater pic and stare at myself. It's not exactly a glamour shot....LOL...and you'd all prob rather see the NICE redfish, but hubby is who got cropped out and he'd not be happy if I posted his pic...you know, witness protection program stuff...LOL...JK!! Anyhoodles, it's the only one I've got on my computer here at work.
