LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV/AP) - The body of Scott County Sheriff Cody Carpenter has been found, while three other people remain missing, following Thursday's severe storms throughout Arkansas.

Keith Stephens with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said authorities found the body between 9:15 and 9:45 a.m. Friday.

The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management reported Carpenter and game warden Joel Campora missing Friday morning.

In a press conference Friday afternoon, authorities said Carpenter and Campora were responding to a 911 call at a home in the Y City area near the Fourche La Fave River. The two then got out of the boat and went inside a home to help two female victims. Authorities can't confirm or deny if these women have been found.

Authorities have recovered the boat and motor, both had received substantial damage. They also found one life jacket. Stephens says he's certain Carpenter and Campora were wearing their life jackets.

Two bodies have been found so far. One being Carpenter and the second being an unnamed female who was found inside a vehicle.

Scott County Judge James Forbes said this is the worst flood he's seen in the 21 years he's lived in Scott County.

Maj. Chris Heathscott with the Arkansas National Guard said crews are working to get a Black Hawk helicopter into the air with hoist capabilities to Scott County to help.

    This was about a hour & a half's drive from me :(

I get them sometimes, but not too often. Did you try powdered alum, to stop it, GG? I had to use it one time and it worked great.

Alum stings!!!! We were looking for it. But never found it. Couple years ago even that did not stop it. Not sure what causes it but its always after a sneeze. Usually Benadryl will stop it. I've gotten to where I just hold a cup under my nose. 3 16 oz cups last night and another today. Not counting what was in my stomach. That's a lot. They are not usually that bad.

Anyway enough gross stuff. I'm just still a little wobbly kneed

Of course alum stings, but not as bad as a red hot poker does.
