LOL Angel, that was the cheap stuff & it would have been $318 without my rx-card. Generic for Valtrex. Can't even begin to imagine what the REAL stuff must cost!

Thanks Stormy ... if things don't improve over the weekend I probably will :)
No, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe what Stormy & Rhonda are saying is that the Dr. could've written a Rx for a less expensive pain med. I don't know, because I don't know about meds & pricing, except SURELY there is something out there that doesn't cost $100.00.

Oh, yeah the pain med would be cheaper I'm sure; we were talking about the cost of the anti-viral med ;)

That's more understandable ... unfortunately, where I live, it's largely a business tactic.

I'll just leave it at that ... I'm sure no one is interested in my idiosyncrasies or hearing (seeing) me rant.

Go to atl for drs. Only quacks in our area... 'Nough said

However, this is where I ask my reaaaaaly dumb questions:D
Last week I put a new head on my electric toothbrush, now I know this shingles stuff is contagious blah blah blah. Do any of you think soaking it in Vodka will disinfect it???

I told you it was a dumb question! :glare:

Run it thru the dishwasher. And tell your DDS that you need magic mouthwash ASAP.

Ok I think I'm caught up.

Dale call your dentist!!! Tell him what dr diagnosed and ask him to call in magic mouth wash. The base is lidocaine. It will help. You should not have to go see him for it to be called in. Drs don't know about mm. DDS s do!!

    Oh! Wow! I didn't know that. Maybe I will ........... hummmmmmm :)

Captel? DH? Just call your dentist. He can confirm with your dr

Captel is a phone for the hearing impaired, I use it to call my husband & get him to call people for me:) It allows me to speak for myself & shows a readable version of what the person I'm talking to says. I call VERY few people and then only those who have known me all my life and we have very short conversations:laugh:
