That stinks.

My schedule is unfortunately to cover my classes and since I am over several departments cover anyone who is out...plus all the program chair duties..which tonight was orientation, after a long day of trying to figure out how to absorb the jobs of those persons we lost...close friends:(

OK, since I'm the person who always says what everyone else is thinking, I'm just going to put this out there, for you frustrated ladies & clueless men. I don't need flowers, jewelry, fine dining, fancy cars, houses or vacations. The only thing I ask, no expect, from you is complete adoration. It's what I give to you, with every thought, word & deed. I expect the same from you. Nothing more, nothing less. You are the center of my universe - I expect to be the center of yours. When you are weak, I will be strong, and vice versa. Women are by nature or nuture, stronger than men when it comes to matters of the heart so I will bear most of the burden, as long as I know you adore me for who and what I am. If that doesn't work for you, don't let the screen door hit you on the way out.

So, there's my deep thought for the evening. Nite all!

3 times I did this.

3 times I had my heart ripped out.

Forgive me for being a touch skittish... I'm good at dodging screen doors.

I feel for ya. My son has to have his phone on at all times and gets calls constantly. He doesn't make great money, but his job is rewarding and he usually enjoys it.
I'm glad yours is well paying and rewarding! You deserve it darlin'! I hope you get some time to yourself after these last two weeks you've put in. ((hugs))

Awww. Thank you Kayte, I don't see an end in sight for awhile:(

Oh, nevermind then. What was your aquarium incident, I forget how you put it.

Oh I siphoned/replaced 50% of the water but forgot to treat the new tap water, it would have been total genocide but reacted quick enough to save the majority. How I explained it to my 4yr old son is a different story.

Aww, we forgive you. Kitties have to be skittish, otherwise they will get their tails caught in the screen doors, or trapped under rocking chairs. :)

I like Charm's requirements. My husband adores me and lets me know it in so many ways. I am soooo thankful. 35 years and going strong. I'm not gloating... just being thankful for what I have. :D

Awwwwwwwwwww and you should be grateful, it's hard to find that. Cherish it sweetie.

I'm fortunate that I have a lot of freedom in my marriage. We don't wear rings, 1. because of the work we do; and 2. because we know we are married and a visible reminder really isn't necessary. Most of my friends are male (he calls them "boyfriends with boundries") and I'm free to do what I want, within reason and funds :) and the same applies to him. But he's still able to fry my .... sometimes. Guess being together for 30 years will do that :)
