Yup, Lori, we don't need any more rain, but they are forecasting 1 -3 inches of the wet stuff for today, tonight and tomorrow. At least it's better than the white stuff, but not much better.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwww muddy, mucky! We are getting winds here in North Alabama, wonder where those are coming from. I don't look at the weather too much.

So I took Rita to the Vet yesterday. She's been throwing up a tiny bit of bile just before it's time for her to eat. So for the last 5 days, I've been splitting up her normal amount of food/treats, and just feeding her more often. That's curbed it almost completely, but on the days I'm home, and don't get up at 5:30, she's thrown up twice, just right before I could get her fed, and she's fed first thing after the morning potty trip.

So he said to give her yogurt, a couple times a day, just a spoonful here and there, and he said just whatever kind I eat. But to give her the kind with the active cultures. He said that should be all that's necessary.

I'd never heard of that, but it seemed reasonable enough....

no.. its understandable.. I lost my best dog on an ice storm.. he had swallowed a ball, and well I couldn't get him to the hospital in time. He died in my arms.. about 6 years ago.. havent had a dog since then, but waiting on the right timing and dog..

Your dog is your best friend, and you gota do the right things for him.. He is the one depending on you to take care of him..
Give him a frozen yogurt treat for me.

Oh Smoky, I'm sooooooo sorry to hear that!! It's sooooo very hard when we lose them, it had been 15 years since I had a dog before we rescued Rita. I know everyone is different, but for me, the love a new pet gives you softens the loss of the others.
Rita is such a joy in my life, I know I'll be a total basket case when she goes, but I really think I'll after some time passes that I will rescue another, there are just too many that need our love. Just my thoughts, I do know how much it hurts though.

The people ahead of me last night were putting down their 15 yr old Doxie, the woman was soooooo emotional, I just cried with her.
She said she'd had back surgery on her when she was 7, and she'd done well afterward, and for many years, but her back had gone out again three days ago, and I guess it was bad, I didn't see her dog. I don't mean to be a downer, but it's just a really hard part of it.

But oh the happiness they bring us!! Immeasurable!!

Some people, you just can't keep happy. I tried hard to not address the negative.. I only go for positive.. no bashing people, or I need help type posts, even tho I might not know what I am doing

The last few years when I know one of mine is getting old or sick I'll go ahead & get another; it helps me to cuddle with the one left after.

On a brighter note; I'm vaping some MudSlide today & it almost tastes like it's supposed to
However I think the stuff I put in that SpitFire is gonna be ruined ... & I know I liked the juice Weird, it's just so harsh & nasty tasting in there

hmm I liked the blueberry, but.. I like everything now that I can taste.. the best things in juice are the surprised ones.. the kind that sneak up on you and say hello!!!

Weren't you just on antibiotics for your shingles. Maybe someone else can chime in too, but I think that they mess up your sense of taste, if I remember correctly.
