Oh I hate that ... it's bad enough when I waste it on a dumb purchase but to flat out lose it, that sux. The only way I've found that helps is to think that maybe someone deserving picked it up.

That's the only way to get over it...but I just want to kick myself. I'm usually so careful about stuff like that.

You know, I really wish I believed that. The last time this happened was 25 years ago. Soon-to-be husband and I took a weekend trip just before we married. I managed to drop 3 twenty dollar bills while getting breakfast ... that put us down to about $30 for the whole weekend. Again, I hoped that whoever found it really, really needed it. I'm getting ready to go away for a week with our son and I'm paranoid at this point that I 'll get down there and have misplaced my funds for this trip.
