Ugh! I dasn't dare....I went a little crazy at Cat's sale, and I've got a co-op closing this week. Luckily, DH's motorcycle repair bill was quite expensive too, so if he asks "how much?", I can say "still less than yours"....

And, no Haze, I don't have MS office on this laptop, rats. I also don't know how to get in touch with Stormy either & I'm getting quite concerned.

Hi Quatro! I'm about to have a beverage myself:toast:

hahaha, that'll fix him ...

Alternatively, you can use MS paint also, it's just not as intuitive. Open the image in Paint, hit shift-w and then re-size it to a % of your choosing. From my experience, even reducing the image to just 99% results in it being at least half it's previous size.

Hi all!!! Thank you for all the well wishes, hugs and prayers. They don't know anything yet, maybe a false alarm and just a flare up of a long time existing condition. But he's stable and comfortable...in his own little world. His Dr. doesn't see any signs of anything serious.

Jerry, you mentioned your dad last night, I think it's just absolutely wonderful that you are in the position that you can take care of him. I'm sure it's been very difficult for you many times, but I just have to give you props for what you do!!!

I just hate that my dad has been in the nursing home for so many years, but dad is combative (can be), they said he fought them terribly in the ER when they were trying to put in his IV, on top of that, he has abnormal strength, he always has had. Sadly, he hasn't known any of us for the last 7 years. My mom kept him at home until it became unsafe for her to do so. She's been gone 3 years last Feb.

But again, thank you all so much!! It really means more than you know.:)

Elf, I am sooooooooo glad your DH found your $$$ that's awesome!!! Your dinner sounds WONDERFUL!!!

Dale, that is fabulous news regarding your mother's health!!! Prayer's for her continued recovery!!

I wish someone could contact Stormy, I'm very worried. She must feel really awful.:(

Aaron, sorry you have to head to Chicago and work on the weekend, bummer!!

Angel sweets, I try not to play too many games. They are WAY TOO ADDICTIVE. I have Mahjong Titans that came on my laptop, it's bad enough.

Yeah, I'm using Paint now. That's why my pictures end up so small. I got frustrated & just gave up for a while. Been playing with my lanyards instead, so I'm popping in & out.

That's sad about your Dad, Lori. My mom was in a nursing home for 9 years and I felt bad for the poor people who were in there. It's a sad thing to see, but at least they were well taken care of.

Thanks Lori, I just see it as God's will that I am able to help out my dad. If my life had gone the way that I wanted it to, I would probably be 1,000 miles away from where I am now.

It is very sad, and he is most definitely taken very good care of where he is, there weren't many that would take patients who may be combative so the one where he is as isn't the prettiest, newest, or anything, but the people there really are so good with them. It's an older facility but very, very clean, and well run. So I do rest easy with him being there.

You remind me much of my DH's uncle. He is in his mid-sixties, still single after all these years, he was the youngest and he never left the area where he was raised. He took care of his mother, (DH's Grandmother) she lived with him when she could no longer live by herself, until she had to go to a nursing home. So, I know exactly what you mean, in a sense, when you say you'd prob be a 1000 miles from where you are. (((Jerry))):):):)

So I'm back. Got them fixed over the phone and got to come back home :)
    Yea!!!

So glad you're okay!! Hope you're feeling better soon!! :):):)

Hi guys, pretty quiet here today, guess everyone has better things to do :)
ah, maybe not "better" things to do, just other things that also need attention...
