Well, remember your place, and all will be well. Did your basement dry out yet?
Not yet, but the water is slowly going down. We are saturated here, so it's going to take a while for the ground to dry out and the water to leave the basement.

I pump it out, but it comes right back in.

From 1973 to 1979, the house we lived in had a basement over a wet spring. No sump pump, so after every heavy rain, we spend HOURS on that cold concrete, sweeping water out the garage door. My feet cramp just thinking about it.....

Ugh. I can't do that, my basement is mostly below ground. I have a sump pump and a submersible pump, but I'm just using the sump pump this time. There's no damage, as everything is above the water line, but it's still a pain in the you know what, especially since the clothes dryer is down there.

I'm good, baby girl! I haven't forgotten you owe me a story, but I know you're still digging out.

I haven't forgotten ladybug. Ill be sure to tell you in the next couple of days. I should be able to sit down without any distractions & talk to you wed night or anytime Thursday if that's okay. That way I can really get into it without having to stop & do other things.

That will do just fine, assuming DH doesn't require major maintenance. One never knows around here. I'll tell him I've got a date.

And what is this RW repellent? Something you can get at Perfumer's Apprentice? Or is this something your Omnipotent Snark can dispense, as a result of my ascension?
