.....okay so, the other morning I had problems with my computer regarding an Adobe Reader update. Something hung up during the update (the update never actually started) but whatever happened really jacked around my computer, it was pretty much locked up.
ANYWAY, I ended up having to do a system restore, then...all was perfectly fine, except I was still getting the message to do the update. Since I was afraid I'd have issues again, if I even tried the update, I just uninstalled Adobe Reader, and went to the website to just re-install a new version and bypass the update. I selected the EXPRESS version and proceeded to install. WELL......DON'T DO THAT Y'ALL!!!! It installs OTHER CRAP TOO!!!
Some 24/7 help program and another program called CONDUIT.
Well, CONDUIT takes over your Google browser, it's like a virus!!(but not really a true virus)
I immediately went in and uninstalled the programs it had installed FROM ADOBE, but could NOT figure out why it was still on Google. I had to search online to get the info how to even get the crap off my Google settings. I already had CCleaner, Malwarebytes, and my Microsoft Security (whatever it's called), so at least I didn't have to download all that. But now I'm having to do full scans and clean outs. Oh, and when I did a full computer search for Conduit, after I'd uninstalled, it showed there was nothing, I had to click on HIDDEN files......and what do you know.....MORE CONDUIT.
(can you tell I'm seething...LOL)So, moral of the story....take the time to do the advanced install....I'm hoping that there is a way NOT to let those programs be installed, but if there isn't a box to uncheck, I guess I'll skip Adobe Reader, cuz I'm not doing all this again!!! (Course, now I know what I need to do) But even still, I'm not 100% sure it's been cleaned on my registry keys....gracious....what ARE these terms I'm using!!!
So, that's what I've been up to all afternoon...anything interesting here??
I'm trying to also stay caught up at the RTS Vapes thread. I've not ever bought from them, but I'm curious to see how all that's going to play out.

Let's see...I processed another 15 pounds of squash and went through/wiped out my refrigerators, and cleaned the mud porch. Exciting stuff
On a random note, I need to get some chocolate (ice cream, cookies, brownies SOMETHING!) tomorrow; I am climbing the fricking fracking walls.

So.. just in case anyone wondered ( ) Watson (my little doggy) is doing better today. He did another freak out last night... pretty much destroyed the office where he sleeps, but today he's acted more like himself. And, I think we've found out what the problem is. Mountain lion. 
Apparently there's one camping out on the hill right across from our house. Well.. two. A mama and her cub. I'm betting they were outside the window where he sleeps and it pretty much sent the poor little guy over the edge.

You know, I think that Chim's Mother's surgery is NEXT weekend. That is the actual weekend of the vape meet, and I think I was confused on the weekends....I am sooooooooooo sorry. (see this is why I don't gossip)
