How come some of you all are lurking? You will not recieve your daily allowance of brainz without participation! Speak up! Post! Let us know if you're undead! Or just say "Hi!".

Never understood the term born again... sounds like re-incarnation to me.... particularly for that people who "get saved" once every few years.... born again... and again... and again... until they get it right? Isn't that the point of re-incarnation?

what cracks me up is hearing someone say they are a born again virgin

and see it's not reincarnation (Buddhist)....or transmigration of the soul (Hindu)either...because it's a Christian thing that means you only have to do it once and it's automatically right because you have god on your side. See reincarnation is ALL about personal repsonsability for your own actions.....karma is not punishment...it's the natural consequences of acting like a jackass. But if your born again...hey...it doesn't matter what kind of freak you are..it's all good because the big JC says so!

lol Calm down Lori... common practice and what the religion is acctually about are two very different things... It's supposed to be that after you are forgiven you do penance and then "go forth and sin no more"... But I guess its changed when people changed from God Fearing to God Fairing...

hey believe me I know that!!! There are Buddhists in Thailand that routinely rip the legs off of living frogs and then throw them back in the water....they eat the legs and figure their karma is safe because they didn't technically kill the creature...if the frogs karma is to live...it lives...if the frogs karma is to die...it dies. I'm calm I was just in a hurry so I did not express myself well...my point was that human beings are amazing in their ability to rationalize any kind of behaviour and then blame it on a deity....pick one....any religion...and as soon as the enlightened founder is gone...all Hell breaks loose.
