Had another good session in PT today and then went out to Wallyworld tonight. First time going out and testing how long I could walk around. Surprised myself and my wife, definitely a positive change and tells me without a doubt, the surgery was worth all this painful recovery. I wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes before the surgery. We walked around a good 45 minutes tonight and did it without taking any meds so I could get a real feel for how it is going. Doesn't seem like such a big deal to a normal person, but it was a huge deal for me. It's been years since I've been able to do that. :rickroll:

That is just awesome! Never underestimate the glorious feeling of being able to do "normal people" things :)

Just wait until you can do something that used to horrify you at the mere thought. Riding in a bumper car perhaps?
