Omg.....where did you find it? ?? Did they finally open their distribution to a larger area? It was very small when i first had them years ago.
Liquor store in uptown Minneapolis. We were out grocery shopping & my gf suggested we drive across town to this store she knew had the biggest selection of beer. I had never been there before. They have about 5 different kinds of Alesmith (though, unfortunately, none of the barrel aged). I think I'll be going back there pretty frequently. I'm excited to try them! They are chilling right now...
Just googled their distribution and they have expanded a lot. Unfortunately closest state for me is North Carolina. ....oh well. One day I'll get more rednecks drinking good beer and we'll get it.
Also, I'd be up for a vape meet in Atlanta in the spring... I have a cousin who lives there who I'm sure would put us up for a weekend. And I'd bring all the Alesmith bottles I could fit in my bag!

Damn, having another fun late night with weather changes. Wish I had saved that old guardian for tonight now. Guess a few muscle relaxers will have to do instead. Hope that Alesmith was good?

I drank the numskull last night. I really like it, description on the bottle is spot-on. If it were a little lower in alcohol, and sold in six-packs, I'd drink it all the time. I opened the scotch ale just to try, and like that one as well. Dryer and darker than the scotch ales I've been drinking (Oscar's & Founder's). Nice change of ace. Have most of that bottle left for tonight. Really wishing I had picked up the Grand Cru, but my budget is shot after travelling for the holidays.

Mmmm, that barley wine beer sounds really good. Been a long, long time for that brand. Didn't have the Scotch Ale, typically not a fav of mine. But did have the Speedway Stout, very good.
Looks like I need to go digging in that dark corner of the fridge and see what I can come up with tonight. In the mood for something vastly different than my everyday pils or ale. Cold night here, nice beer for the occasion sounds good.
