I have not purchased my first ecig yet. I was wondering if i should go with the m-401 or the dse 901. Both i am planning to purchase form puresmoker.com. I still hope these will be available tonight because I am goin to be busy today. I am a pack a day smoker and I need the one with the longest battery life and atomiser life.
I work in the healthcare field and on friday i saw a man die a horrible death form smoking for 70 years. However i dont want to give up my nicotine:confused: . My plan is to give up analogs completely and just smoke my ecig. Thanks in advance Brandee38.

I have both, I prefer the M401, great flavour, batteries last SLIGHTLY longer than the DSE901, and it's a bit smaller in length and diameter. THe only drawback is the small cartridges, which are tricky to fill, but once you get used to how to drip into them, it's a piece of cake. Steady hands required!

If you clean the atomizers in boiling water once/week or more, they stay nice and clean. I'm on the same m401 atomizer for 6 weeks, works perfectly like it did on day one.

Cash has a 401? Interesting.

Still, the 401 hasn't got the track record for me to be confident it will be reliable and durable for a beginner, like the 901 has.

I'd suggest the RN4075 from Vapor Guys. The 4075 was actually the e-cig that made the 901's reputation, as it was misidentified as a 901 back when many of us old-timers were buying them. So for all this time, we've been hyping the weaker one of the two. Whoops. It is identical in draw and batteries, but produces more vapor.

I was a pack a day smoker as well and wanted a long battery life too. I went with an intellicig EVO for my first ecig and I love it. The battery life is amazing compared to the 901, although the 901 is great as well. The EVO is pretty cheap and I think they still have "try it' packs, and starter packs for less than most ecigs. If you're anything like me then you'll get hooked in and buy several devices anyway! Check out the video reviews for the evo, tons of vapor, I get a good throat hit but not too hard, long battery life, decent size carts for a mini, etc. I must say I don't much care for the cart flavor so i just bought some liquid from Johnson Creek and PureSmoker.

I have now 3 models, RN4081 (PeeWee), JOYE JKY303A (ecis) and M401. For me M401 is bether in all aspects than other two models. But there is one thing, it spends 1/2 of e-liquid for the same vapor production, amaizing but therefore (due to the use of a small amount of e-liquid) troathit is not great and could say M401 is not good for heavy smokers.

If you are really a heavy smoker to begin with... MODS are the way to go.. but If you have to have that cig look.. and would have to pick between the m401 and the 901- I would stick with leafords suggestion that the 901 is more realiable and just plain easy to break into as a beginner.
I would also recommend that you drip instead of buy those prefill carts .. those things are a pain in the but just because they are meant for convenience instead of economics. When you drip.. you always have a good daily supplied bottle with you and no matter what frequency of vaping you do, you ensure that it will be there when need. I would rather carry a 3 to 4 mil bottle of juice around all day to use rather than have to caryy umteen million carts around to supply my atty.

Anyway, my $0.02 worth.. happy vaping

I bought a EVO last week and finding that I love it. I had one last year and sold it.
Been vaping for a long while now and have had kidney pain. Since I have switch to the EVO the pain is now leaving. I think the pain was caused from PG. The EVO carts do not dry me out as much either. I love the MODS and all,but finding that I love the EVO just as much or more. The cart flavor of the EVO is growing on me. I think I will stay with this for a while. I can vape with the EVO and not have to drink something constantly.

So this week, I order so more atomizers, batteries and carts with the juice for my EVO.

Seriously? Is that the right link? If so, then that site may have changed since you were there last... I wouldn't direct anyone there. It looks as if they don't sell anything, and just link to whatever over-priced rip-off company will pay them ad revenue for the click-through.

EDIT: That post by leaford is over a year old! For some strange reason, this thread popped up in my news-feed yesterday. I responded without noticing the dates. Obviously, things have changed since then. Sorry, leaford! I hate to give it a bump, but need to set the record straight (leaford can't post a response here: Since that post, he has become a supplier. Suppliers aren't allowed to post here). Now, hopefully this thread will sink back to the bottom of the memory hole...
