The 1.0 for fusions and the 1.5 for mega fusions that will be out soon. Here is what the 1.5 and mega fusions look like.

got the Buzz and I DO love it.. but it NEEDS that 1" Buzz tank on ASAP. It goes through juice So much faster.. even set on low voltage with a 2.0 Fusion. I have to top off every couple of hits! It's been so annoying that it's kept me from using it much.. two hits, it goes dry, starts to burn and I have to re-fill/heavily top off again. I fill the carto condom-style as much as possible to start with. It actually seems to give the best vapor on the lowest voltage setting with the LR 2.0 Fusions. Is this normal?? But the vapor production... WOW! Notcigs even did a simple name engraving for me for free.... awesome company. They have my business for life!

The 2 ohm can be used all the way to max voltage, however unless you really like a hot vape you will get better run time off the 2.5 ohm. I run with the 2.5 ohm at 4.5 - 5V most of the time, 8 - 10W. At 8W I get pretty much full day, 6 - 7 ml of eliquid used between swaps.

Wow, seriously? When I turn mine up, unless I have a TOTALLY full carto it starts to burn after one or two hits. At that voltage it goes through juice like the cookie monster goes through cookies! Ok, what do you mean by 8 W? Watt? How do you determine your wattage? I have the batteries that came with the unit. Yesterday I went through a 5ml bottle at low voltage on my LR Fusion on the BUZZ Pro! *And I still used my Riva from time to time. I have to top off almost non-stop. I have an Umbrella tank coming along with some pre-punched cartos in case I can't get this Buzz Tank working. I wrote to Ikenvapes and asked if he'd pre-punch them for me for a fee... he said no but gave me a link to a carto puncher (that was all sold out) for a very reasonable $7. Does Ikenvapes sell the 2.5?

Watts = VxV/R. 4.5 x 4.5 / 2.5 = 8.1

Yes ikenvape sells 2.5 ohm fusions, too, they are quite popular. They are pretty much all I use, at 4.5v.nudging up to 5 at times.

I slot rather than punch, because I have a dremel, but a lot of people punch and get good results.

Ikenvape is frequently out of the 2.5s since they are so popular. Keep an eye on his site and over at his supplier sub forum to catch them when he gets stock in. If you use Twitter, that's a good way to keep track of his stock too.

Crap, yep... out of stock. Is there anything else I can use while I wait for him to re-stock?? Just a temp few cartos to get my by that can handle a higher resistance? Anything in the Boge line? What would you suggest as the next-best alternative?

Thanks for the explanation!

I have Dremels and Fordoms too. What sort of cutting wheel do you use? A diamond cutting edged wheel? How long of a slot? One slot or two? Where on the carto? How thick is the cutting wheel?
Wow, that's a lot of questions! Sorry;/

I use the simple cheapie tube cutter that comes with the low-cost dremel assortment pack, it may have even been in the original Dremel 300 box. Pretty sure it's a 426 fiberglass reinforced wheel, but any of the similar ones would be fine. It's definitely not a diamond wheel or any of the other more exotic ones, just a simple fiberglass reinforced cutting wheel.

Cut goes anywhere 1/3" to 1/2" up from the base of the carto (or up from the top of the collar on a fusion). A horizontal cut, ends up being 1/16 - 1/8" high by 1/4 - 1/3"W. Remove the bottom condom from the carto, put the top of the carto, in its condom, into a pair of vice grips lying on a table (or on a paper towel on a table); it doesn't have to be ultra-tight, you should be able to push the carto down into the ends of the vice grips.

Use safety glasses, set dremel to high speed. Make the horizontal cut at that 1/3 - 1/2" height. Don't exert much, if any, pressure pretty much just let the weight of the dremel do the job. With even light pressure it'll only take 20 seconds or so. A slight side-side motion of the dremel head works well, though isn't strictly necessary.

Don't cut all the way through the filler, but a little bit into it is no problem. If you have a little "scab" of carto metal, just pop it out with a thumb tack or small nail tip; I use a 4D nail tip. No need to sand/smooth the slot edges -- I've been doing this over 5 months, the o-rings have had no issue with the slots.

Practice on an old used carto, after even a couple test slots you'll have the hang of it, it truly is an easy thing to do.

For alternate cartos, boge 3 ohm stainless steel are fine, or Ikenvape 510 cartos at 2.5 - 3 ohms. My backup cartos, since I have an 808 fitting, are v4l cool carts at 3.1 ohms, which work quite well at 5 - 5.5V; I have a bunch of them from before the M1A1 came out.

I only use 1 slot, but due to the size of it it is equivalent to multiple punched holes. My eliquid is a pretty thin DIY, zero leak problems (the M1A1 has good seals, key to minimizing leaks).

I find pictures are easier to understand. I used to use a Dremmel but got too lazy to go out to the shop to use it so I now use a small hammer and a very sharp very pointed awl and it works great. Plus it fits in my drawer. You can see the hole it puts in. It looks larger tan it is in this photo but I never top off and always have amply juice on the coils.

That's what I used to use too. They work just fine.

BTW This is the perfect description for the M1A1 with a Fusion inside sitting on a Buzz Pro or Infinity Pro.

To Frank Sinatra's I'm in heaven.

I'm in heaven
And my heart beats
So that I can hardly speak
And I seem to find
The happiness I seek
When we're out together
Vaping it's so sweet

Heaven
I'm in heaven
And the cares
That hung around me
Through the week
Seem to vanish
Like a gamblers
Lucky streak
When we're out together
Vaping without a leak.

Oh
I love to climb a mountain
And to reach the highest rank
But it doesn't thrill me
Half as much
as a fusion in a tank

Oh
I love to go out fishing
In a river, or the sea
But I don't enjoy it half
As much as vaping
with all three

With the Fusion
in a notcig tank and both,
on their PV.
From all the vapor they produce,
I'm sometimes hard to see.

Heaven
I'm in heaven
And my heart beats
So that I can hardly speak
And I seem to find
That Vapor taste with thanks
When we're out together
Fusion, Buzz and M1A1 tank.:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
