yays! Now I have a slogan for my signature~_* (I'm a self-quote .....)
What a great way to look at it!
Hey Fedor, how much experience do you have with the 2 hole atomizers? I have an old intellicig branded 2 hole, but find that vapor production does not even compare to my "weakest" 4 hole. Throat hit is excellent, and the coils are glowing nicely. I just did a cleaning on it, (36hrs in club soda, has phosphoric acid, one of the suspected agents to work against coil build up) but i haven't seen an increase of vapor (which i kind of hoped for).
Oh well, i guess i can just keep it in back-up position.
Hmmm...I don't find the draw that easy with my attys (the 4-hole). Just got new ones, though I know these have to be broken in somewhat before they start really performing. Definitely a better draw when dripping (or dipping) as opposed to using a cart. Sometimes I feel like I can't suck any air past the cart. I think I tend to overfill these though, haven't quite got that down yet like I have with my 901.
I find the batts cut off before the 7-second mark quite often.
I'm going to research some real powerhouse e-cig models on the forum and not invest any more time/money on this one. I'm liking the Janty/Joy 510 reviews and videos and the new USA one coming out by puresmoker (?) is the direction I'm going.
I'm looking for something reliable for every toke, rather than hours of trouble shooting to get a few decent vape hits, so this will be a spare toker. Still like the size of it, and if improvements ever make it tokable OUT OF THE BOX and an everytime hitter, unless dry or low batt, I'd be sold and reinvest.
Silver: Congrats! Sounds like you should be getting your unit tomorrow. Be sure to let us know how everything goes.
Other than that, I'd still STRONGLY suggest an M201, it hits like a winner, great vapor, huge carts! Again the only thing that i would want out of it is different colors/leds combinations.
Good luck with your vaping!
Need: sorry about your experiences... yup it definitely sound like your first unit(s) were bums. If you're not too frustrated with it try giving the Ms a week or two to break-in. It would probably take this long for you to get another unit anyway.
The prodigy from PS does sound like a winner, but I'm kind of shy vaping the M201 outdoors, let alone something any larger. I may pick one up if their self-developed atomizer proves to be worthwhile (user-serviceable would be to die for). As for the 510/Dura try PMing Kaeo, he had one and can give you some first hand impressions about its performance.

As mentioned earlier, the hard draw might be due to the carts not being pushed down low enough, resulting in no space for air to pass through. Since you drip, this could be possible when you push the inner cart up but did not push it back all the way down.
Some suppliers might still be stocking the older 5 second cut off model. Get some new batteries from suppliers who can confirm that they are the newer ones. The newer ones should give you up to 9-10 seconds before cutting off...
Just read the entire thread, and i'm quite set on the 401 as my first e-cig.. i just can't make up my mind about the color. I like the black ones, but i'm afraid that it will look weird smoking them in public places(bars, pubs). Also i read that the white ones doesn't looks as good as the black ones. Any thoughts on that?
P.S.: Also, every time i'm reading the ECF forum i feel the need to smoke, and since i don't have any e-cig, im puffing analogs)
As far as batteries go i have (battery color/led color) stainless/blue, white/orange, brown(woodgrain)/green, black blue, and black/orange. So far i think that the brown/green looks the "classiest", but my problem with this model is the fact that i cant see the led during the day. I like to use the white/orange when i in my "don't want to explain vaping" mood, but other than those rare occasions, will most likely use the stainless or black with blue led.
I feel it really depends on where you're going to be vaping. If you're in an area where you can't smoke, than the blue led will help dissuade people from thinking you're actually smoking. On the other hand if you're in a designated smoking area, and don't want to be bombarded with questions, then white orange might be a better choice.
In the end if you end up completely switching, you'll probably end up with more batteries, so i wouldn't worry too much about you're initial order.
