I would agree that they do look strikingly similar. Also, smokingeverywhere's cigs look a lot like the 401s.

(Which made me wonder when someone earlier on the thread said his friend bought a "piece of crap from the smokingeverywhere kiosk".)

I'm quite sure that the Peewee is not a M401. Steve just added the M401 to his product line. Why would he carry two identical items and calling them different names and selling at the same price?

The smokingeverywhere "piece of crap" that many have mentioned are KR models and have been confirmed by at least another seller of the same model here on the forums.

Its great that we have more vendors to choose from now when we buy the M401. Steve is great with his reputation around here. I'm sticking to Absolutely E-Cigs as they have greater variety and excellent prices.

Agreed. All three of those models mentioned have totally different atomizer configurations.

One way to tell the m401/402/403 models apart from other similar minis is by looking at the atomizer. The M series are unique to themselves (and the super cheapo Health knockoffs). They have a collar on them the same size and diameter as the battery, on the battery end of the atomizer. When fully inserted the cart does not cover the whole atomizer unit.

All of the other super minis on the market have the cart conceal the entire atomizer.

I just received some information from an anonymous source, wink wink, who would have liked to post here but isn't allowed to. The Peewee at Puresmoker is an RN4081, which is different from the M401, with incompatible parts. So Fedor you're correct.

Another interesting side bit, the 401 and 402 batteries are interchangeable -- ie. you can screw a 402 battery onto a 401, if you happen to want a shorter cig.

Thanks to my source for watching the convo and providing this information. :)

I have the njoy npro and if the PeeWee is exactly the same, I think I read somewhere that the Npro is a DSE101.. I could be wrong:oops:

We already covered this in the early part of the thread, i think...

Great observation!:thumb: I didin't think of that...

Fedor you totally sold me on the M401 a few weeks ago and I bought one from your fav supplier since I couldn't find one domestically. Since then, I added an M402 and am now waiting for the platinum 401 from Cash. THESE THINGS ARE GOOD! I will say the battery capacity dropoff between 401 to 402 is pretty significant, but both provide a great vape!

My only advice to new "M" users is to break in the atomizer for a good 2-3 days before passing judgement. They tend to be SUPER mild the first couple of days, then they start waking up and providing one of the best "hits" of any of my current devices.

I don't care who you buy one from, but no serious e-cig collection should be without one of these :)

How much of a difference between battery life do you get between 401 and 402? I exclusively use a 401 and 402 side by side nowadays. I would say that the difference is no more than 20%. I never really timed it though. Even when i bring only an M402 out, i usually bring one spare 402 battery and it can last me a full day. Bear in mind that i vape quite a bit. Because of this, i actually prefer the m402 over the m401 cos i'm not sacrificing much.

You are right that all e-cig collection should have one of these. And why not? The cigs are cheap, the parts and carts are cheap, shipping is dirt cheap, you have colors to choose from (more so now that steve is carrying them) and customer service is excellent.

I vape a TON [more than just the M401/2]. I haven't conducted any scientific tests, but it feels like more of a 1/3 reduction when using the M402 batts. I wouldn't take that as gospel, and in general I expect too much from batteries.

Another really great aspect of finding a super-mini that does the job is that you can adapt a regular cig case to fit them quite nicely!

I vape about 2-3ml (sometimes 3.5ml) on a normal day. When i drink, the amount could be much more. I know thats not record breaking but should at least be slightly above average.

My observation says less than 20%. Bellinghamster is about 33%. Anyone else wanna share their observation of the difference between 401 and 402 battery life? If not, i'll probably start timing the battery life to shed some light. Let me work out the methodology and i'll hopefully come back with more updates.

Ok..I did a simple experiment to test the difference between M401 and M402 batteries. Not an elaborate one but should serve the purpose well.

I prepared 2 fully charged batteries of M401/402. I made sure i puffed on each one of them alternately. Meaning that i took one puff on one and the next puff on another and so on. This makes it easier as I only wanted to know how much longer does the M401 battery lasts compared to the M402. This will also be fair on both batteries as I will not be spending more time on one battery compared to the other. Not to mention that its easier to keep count. It took a toll on me mentally though but can't blame anyone since I'm lame enough to do this....

Sure enough, the M402 started to blink first (meaning that it needs to recharge). But the real result is how much longer did the M401 battery last?

Now for some details,

Both batteries lasted me the entire day. I actually had to vape much more than usual just in case the batteries lasts till the next day and affects my calculations (i'm just bad at math). And I also wanted to get it over with sooner.

**Both batteries was vaped constantly with any breaks in between rarely lasting for more than 15-20 minutes. (Don't worry, I used low nic juice)

I started vaping at around 7.30am and the M402 started to blink at around 7.00pm. I changed a new battery for the M402 and continued the experiment. The M401 battery started to blink right after 9pm.

The results for this experiment:

M402 (7.30am to 7.00pm) = 11.5 hours divided by 2 = 5.75 hours*

M401 (7.30am to 9.00pm) = 13.5 hours divided by 2 = 6.75 hours*

Conclusion: The M401 battery lasts 14.81% longer than the M402 battery.

*Normal use can yield better usage time. I just wanted to get the whole thing over with asap.

I'm no scientist. Neither am i good with numbers. Hope this experiment helps and let me know if there are any mistakes. Again, this is meant to be as simple as possible and is not meant to be an official figure of any kind.

Alright...here are some more pics. I looked at the previous pics and they looked like crap. I'm not saying these are much better but at least this time, i took mostly individual shots. This is about all the colors AbsolutelyeCigs has. Man, pictures are difficult to take....

The M401- Brown with Green LED. Like this color very much.

The M402 - Black with Blue LED with a shot at each side. One side with the Gold designs and one without.

The M402 - White and a shot together with the M201. These two are pretty worn out as they are the first i got from Absolutely ecigs

I've received a several PMs asking pretty much the same questions so i thought i'd just post them here once and for all (although some have been covered in the ealier post but i guess people just don't want to read through 10++ pages)

1) The M201 parts are not compatible with any penstyle parts that i know of.

2) M401 & 402 chargers, batteries and atomisers are interchangeable. They are identical except for the battery length. M402 is 12mm shorter than M401 and is my preferred e-cig of the two (If you wanna get a 402, i suggest the black one cos its way cooler)

3) I don't really know how long it will take to reach your respective areas. It is a question better reserved for EMS. It took a week to reach me.

4) Absolutely ecigs do not have paypal charges or any other hidden cost. The price you see is the price you get. No kidding.

5) You can drip with a syringe, dripper bottle and pretty much any other dripping device. You just need to push the inner cart out or just push the syringe needle into the cart to refill from bottom to top. There is a very well done intellicig video to refer to.
