Its OK- I like that you are nosy. I would like to get your take. If I am wrong than I would like to know it. I'm not the type of person that cant take critism and obviously if I am wrong I am not afraid to admit it as well as apologize for it. I posted to find out what the deal was and I would appreciate it if you would read them and give me your opinion. Expect them in a few as I have figured out how to send them.

Thanks

As i said, you can send them to my PM.

Do you really still want us to read the emails?

1) You have publicly admitted to be wrong about the Refund and also about AEC being blacklisted/ warned against.

2) The supplier refunded to you and you took a big shot at them in a forum that even if they registered, would not be able to reply legitimately.

3) You had wrongly accused the poor supplier of being blacklisted and being complained against.

My humble suggestion would be to move on and spend more time on vaping rather than on this. Seriously, its a pretty closed case to me.

I agree, lets get this thread back on topic.

i think i may have finally burned through the primer, after 4 days of pretty heavy vaping. dunno what happened but all of a sudden there is NO harshness to the vapor any more. and i am ecstatic :D. the smoke juice actually tastes pretty good now that it's not all burn-y anymore. vaping JC's peach cobbler and it tastes pretty much like peach instead of 95% like burnt crust. i guess this is a lesson to those receiving 402's...don't get discouraged if it tastes like .... at first. just keep going! :D keeping my fingers crossed that it stays tasting this good.

Hehe see I told you...ok, so maybe i sorta hinted at the fact... Anyways its good to hear that you finally burned off all of the primer. Honestly I've never had THAT bad an experience with factory primer, but i guess its not that uncommon.

Thank You so much!!! You rock! These prices are actually in my budget. Can you please explain to me what the difference is between ordering refill cartridges and refill catridges with e-juice and 20/ml E-juice w/PG before I order so I dont make yet another mistake? And what is the deal with e-juice?

Thanks Again
Jen

Jen- When you have time, read through some of the stickies on the Forum, this will answer many, many questions, and save space/prevent clutter from reviewing previously answered questions.

Refill Cartridges (carts) are pre-packaged mouth pieces which have a small reservoir to hold "filler material" (polyester wick/batting/fill) as well as "e-liquid". This is the most convenient way to keep vaping, but also the most cost intensive, and severly limits your flavor selection, as well as nicotine dosage.

E-Juice/E-Liquid/Liquid: is (Usually) comprised of Propylene Glycol (PG), flavorings and (in most cases) nicotine. Nicotine dosages usually range from (in mg/ml)~8, 12, 18, 24, and 36. Many people relate how much "throat hit" there is with a liquid with how high a nicotine dosage it has, but variations can occur with different liquid PH. Buying E-Liquid is usually much cheaper, and allows a wider range of flavors as well as strengths. Some people are allergic to PG, and thus need to use Vegetable Glycerine (VG) based liquids instead. VG is usually thicker, and a little sweeter than PG. I personally notice a "heaver" vapor with VG, and like its smoothness. The average cost of liquid is about $1/1 ml, but can be found for cheaper.

I just PM'd Kaeo about cutoff... how many of you actually hit the factory 7 sec cutoff?!?! I can barely hit the 7 sec (I usually end up coughing and sputtering like a 100 year old chain smoker)8-o, let alone have the need for a 9 sec cutoff.

I would usually suggest ordering with your PV order, but My Freedom Smokes does not carry any e-liquid. I really like E-Smokey Treats (high recommendation for watermelon and coffee), and some Pure Smoker stuff (their menthol is great), but my recent order from E-Smokey Treats Coffee wasn't as good as the first one. PureSmoker is a super popular site, so many times they are out of stock on liquid. I would first find out what baseline flavors you like to vape, sweet, mint, tobacco...ect. Then branch out from there. The flavor usually prepackaged in sets is usually marboro or "regular tobacco" (I've seen it packaged as both "regular" or "tobacco"). After you figure out what flavors you want to try, determine your nicotine level. It is possible to get more nicotine in vaping rather than in analogs, simply because a PV gives until the cart is dry or the battery is dead. However in most cases, drag per drag, an analog has more nicotine (i believe). If you do plan on ordering from Absolutely, they also carry e-liquid as well as "blank carts" (which do not have e-liquid, and sell for a lower cost). Be aware that personal tastes vary, so what i like you may hate.

If you don't have an idea of what kind of liquid you want to order, try getting some sample packs. Retailers like PureSmoker, Johnson's Creek (JC), and a few others have small bottles (usually ~5mls) of about 8-10 flavors.

reading the sticky wrong was how I got myself in trouble in the first place! So which one would you recommend ordering?

What ruuku meant (i think) was reading the Newbie, General Discussion, Tips and Tricks etc. sticky. Those places has a lot of good info.

Besides, you could also misread the supplier name in any thread or post. Even with ruuku's post below...LOL

Its something i don't think you will be repeating soon...so read along and join us. I didin't receive any emails from you so i think you are ready to move on.

Kudos to you for being a big enough person to admit your mistakes. Even bigger props to you for not giving up vaping. It has helped us a lot and we hope you'll benefit from it as much as we did.

I have hit the 7 second cutoff a few times. When I have dipped and want to take a nice slow inhale deep into my lungs. Getting off analogs permanently is my main goal while still having my nicotine. Sometimes a deep lung hit done slowly and gently, helps to get me over the (still) deep craving I get for a real cig. Strong(or gentle) fast sucks make a lot of vapor and that is nice too... But sometimes, newly coming off 20+ years of analogs at a pack a day(sometimes less, sometimes more through the years).. I am finding the long slow deep straight to the lung hit helps a lot! Not all the time, but a few times a day to get over the bigger urge... so I go over the 7 sec.. with 2 extra seconds, no worry about the 2 min cutoff before vaping again. Seems like some people just switch batteries to bypass that and vape away.. but those extra 2 secs would be perfect for me and save time switching batteries.

Hehe... i kind of LOL'd at that... I remember having a twitchy battery, and then switching the atomizer to another battery to keep vaping... that was before having two fully assembled Ms at all times (I'm tired of writing M401/2/3 :p)

Yup, can agree on the temptation of analogs (srly...does it get easier?!?!) I almost quit drinking for fear of reverting...

I'm still so new with this that I only have the one atomizer still! 5 on the way.. 1 from Ruyandirect, and 4 from Eastmall. By the time I have a second atomizer to have two fully assembled units I will have read every thread in the forums! lol! (well, maybe not all... but.... :w00t:)

I still have the smokingeverywhere 2.0 unit and the more I learn, the more I think it sucks. I use it when my atomizer is drying after a short alcohol soak and rinse and canned air blowout because i want to try a new flavor. I can't wait to have 2 or 3 atomizers dedicated by juice alone! I am so jealous of all these people with multiple atomizers:p

I hope it gets easier.. I have faith it will.. the more care we put into this new way/lifestyle change, the less i think our old will have a hold on us.

Yup, besides what else are you going to do while waiting for your next shipment to arrive (points to purr2Freya:p)
Seriously though, before i ordered from Absolutely, I agonized over which unit to buy... who knew i would hit gold on my first order! Again this is due in no small part to Fedor and many of the other wonderful contributors to this thread and many like it on ECF.

In my early Noob days (well still am a noob... but maybe an educated one?) I read all i could about various models, watched every video (reviews, tips and tricks ect.) and basically tried to enlighten myself before posting. I only posted on whatever i couldn't glean from reading/searching the forum.

I won't say that none of this is trial and error, as I've had my share of hiccups along the way, but there is a HUGE wealth of information posted on the site.

One example recently was purr2Freya's finding out about the "Dip don't drip" thread.

Honestly though I really don't mind assisting anyone, its just that there are probably members with many times more experience than i have, who might have alreadly answered the question more eloquently than I.

AEC was a smooth transaction and got me my product quickly. I'm looking forward to checking out this other site for replacement atomizers...I bought one replacement but figured I'd get one or two more, and maybe a 401 battery for the additional capacity if i'm not going to be near a charger.

Now that it's finally starting to taste good, i'm realizing the JC stuff isn't terribly great. Going to check out a few other sites...what was that totallywicked US site again? Also, any other recommendations? I saw previously kick liquid, e-smokey treats...any others? i like mint, and the sweeter flavors seem to be more appealing than traditional (tobacco) flavors.

sorry I missed the part where you said to send it to you- how do I do that. I tried to post the url here so you can see what I am talking about but the system wont let me because I havent made 15 posts yet, sorry. Basically take off everything after the slash after forum and scroll down and you will see the thread. I double checked again and it is the first thread at the top. Also I would like to PUBLICALLY ADMIT that I was wrong about the warning- it is e-cig.com not absoulutely e-cig.com and I did not realize that they are two different companies until I typed it in my browser. I thank you for being so insistent or I never would have noticed. The fact still remains that I said that only at the end when I was completely frustrated and upset(which is probably why I read it wrong! Dont I feel like _____fill in the blank!) I will let you be the judge. Please tell me how to send them.

Thanks

oh, what a funny post to wake up to this morning.

right, topic closed. sorry, it's just too perfect.

ANYWAY, i finally had an update on my shipment from AEC. as of last night it is currently in customs in SanFran. i'm hoping it's done with customs and maybe closer to colorado! i hope it makes it by friday (that would make 10 days).

so that's all mint and such but i just got an email from the company i ordered a JC sampler pack, carrying case, and an extra atomizer from saying that everything i ordered was out of stock. well i had emailed the guy back and forth before i made my order because the atmoizer and case i was looking to buy were saying "out of stock," and the JC sampler was showing in stock, but he told me he had an atomizer and an extra case and were mine if i wanted them. i placed my order minutes after and let him know i did want them. what i realize now is i was emailing him from a different address than the one i put the order under. i'm hoping it's just a mistake and he'll email me back, saying "just kidding, your sh*t is on its way!"

sorry, rambling, just woke up. anyone else dream about their e-cig? i've been having dreams every night that i'm finally getting mine in the post. i think this is just the start of obsession.

and, uh, thanks fedor

if you are a M401 fan like myself, I really like the branded M401 stuff from myfreedomsmokes.com
click on the wholesale tab:
user name: smoke
password: puff

I think his batteries are the best out of all the other suppliers. I can get at least 9 sec cutoff, as opposed to the regular 6-7sec. I also think his logo makes it look better than just the plain all black.

He has a new shipment of supplies coming on the 4/29. Also, he ships everything for FREE. Atomizers $7.95 & batteries $13.95. I stocked up on his atomizers when he was selling them for 6.95.

WOW thank you for a usa supplier. Midwest Vapor also has Mxx parts.

Jennyden - your experience was not unique ;)

In addition to my earlier request about good smoke juices...anyone know of a good carrying case for this? I'm thinking something that would hold a few bottles of juice, 3-4 batteries, some filters, and atomizers. right now I'm using the box it came in, but...doesn't fit in my pocket very well. :) as awful as it is, the only thing that's coming to mind that would probably work (if it had more elastic enclosures to hold things) would be one of those little leather cases to hold hypodermic needles, drug vials, etc. that'd actually probably work quite well...but don't know what they're called, or how to search for them, heh.

I'm using this:

Walmart.com: Case Logic Koskin Digital Memory Case: Digital Cameras

holds atomizer, paperclip, about 5 carts, 2 2ml bottles, battery and a few pieces of nicorette. It works pretty well! Less than $4. at your local walmart too :)

Looks great. Gonna have to look into that!

Question about juice: I've heard cutting the juice with glycerin if you get a strong flavor, that it can help stretch it out a bit. Is it okay to cut with PG itself, if you can get your hands on it?

I don't see any reason why not.

Just remember to cut a small amount to test first. You may not like the flavor after dilution.

Let us know how it goes.

I have been using the passtrough since Tuesday for 8hrs a day while at work. It don't notice any really difference in heat from the regular batteries vs the passthrough.

Looking for an update on the pasthrough.. Is it still working well for you? Any issues? I will be able to order more supplies on the 8th and i would really like to try this.
