I just got in my order from Absolutely, and i must say that I'm impressed, 7 days from confirmation of shipment to my door. However, it looks like they still haven't worked out the bugs with their liquid. It came inside a ziplock bag, packed within bubble wrap, in the box, but the problem is that they did not screw on the top of the cap tight enough. When i recieved the liquid, i could hand tighten all of the bottles, about 1/4 a turn. The bottle with the least amount of liquid took 1/2 a turn to fully tighten. Liquid had leaked out of the bag, through the bubble wrap, and then proceeded to soak into the cardboard box. In all I really don't know how much liquid i do have

Initial impressions of AEC MRBL 18mg: I can see how Fedor mentioned a "fresh taste" Its definitely lighter in flavor than most other "Marlboro" flavor I've tried. There's an almost light "pineappley" taste. The color is VERY light, like an ivory color to the liquid.
Purr: the old stick style inner carts is not that much easier to top off imo. It does have a wider area, but its still recessed into the mouthpiece. The main draw (punny!) is that it makes the draw much easier.

WOW! I hope they send you a new batch.. looks like you lost more than half your liquid. Did you email them these pictures? There may be a problem with the machinery (or was) when these bottles went through the capping process.

Eastmall is currently having a sale this month.. buy 100ml get 40ml free... buy 200ml get 100ml free in their sampler pack section.. Not sure if you want that much liquid to start off with.. Absolutely and Eastmall both do a 100ml minimum.
Ruyan sells liquids for a bit cheaper in 30ml bottles and their accessories are a little cheaper. You can get blank carts, batteries, atomozers...etc... plus a few bottles of juice...
I get my hardware from Ruyan.. but I just got 300ml of juice from eastmall (buy the 200ml +100ml free). I have not tried juice yet from the other two sites, but they probabaly are the same? If/when I ever run out of the total 400ml from eastmall, I may check out the cheaper per ml bottles at Ruyan and make it my one stop shop for all my vaping needs.

I got my liquid without losing a single drop but i can see how easily it could have leaked.
I emailed AEC but did not mentioned anything about ruuku (as i don't even know his name). I just said that a friend i recommended had this problem and i am afraid that my order will one day arrive like this as well.
They quickly apologised within the next 2-3 minutes of my email and said that they have purchased new bottles to solve this problem. We'll see.

Just got my reply from AEC, and they'll be happy to replace what seems like the entire liquid purchase. Only problem is that my last order included 5 kits and 12 atomizers... won't really be needing to order anytime soon... I just emailed them regarding this, so i'll let everyone know how this turns out.

Their original bottles were 30 ml bottles, so they should be about 2/3 full. I had leaking issues on my first order from them as well...
I have not ordered any liquid from AEC. I have so far made two orders from Eastmall for liquid.. 1st order was 100ml custom sampler pack of 5 bottles at 20ml each. 2nd order just came in today of 300ml. (they are having a sale this month.. buy 100ml get 40ml free... buy 200ml get 100ml free *this in the custom sampler area so I picked 10 flavors and got an extra bottle each of my first 5 choices).. So I paid $100 +$15 shipping for 300ml which is a deal I could not pass up! Both orders were quickly dispatched and to my door within 6 days. No leaking either time. The bottles there are diff. I am set for a long time now as everything I have is 36mg so I need to cut it. I also got some pg and more vg on the way and just got my order of loraans flavorings to make up for loss of taste on the more subtle flavors when I cut them... and 16 little 7ml bottles for my mixes. The liquid is quite good so far I have not bothered finishing off my JC liquid sampler yet. I *think* AEC liquid and Eastmall are from the same place... but cannot say for sure as I have not been able to compare them. But the bottles are def different.
it does sound like AEC is giving you good customer service and rectifying the mistake.. but it sort of sucks you have to order more stuff to get the replacement liquid? Is this standard practice with Chinese suppliers? Maybe you can ask them if they will resend the order and maybe you pay half the shipping and they pay half.. I think that would be fair. I'm interested to know if this is possible in case i run into something like this in the future.

new 401 owners here.
So far we're loving them... very reliable so far with little to no issues (it took a good while to get it broken in, especially with the supplied carts). After we got it drawing, it's been great.
The battery and cart life are very refreshing. takes so much of the hassle (making sure i have all my juices, and backup batteries charged, and the cart topped off, etc.etc. before i leave for work)... well, all that is a lot easier now.
REALLY love the 401's (got em from Ruyan). The matte black with blue LED are very classy too... less cheapo looking than our traditional tan/white w/ orange LED.

Very nice! Good to know they are responsive. Next month I will be making my first order through AEC for hardware as I need the realistic looking (white batteries) starter kit and some spare parts for my friend's b-day care package. I am not sure why Ruyan does not carry these.
I also wrote Ruyan about possibly selling usb passthroughs for the m401/2 and got this response:

So far the factory haven't produced the USB passthroughs for M series products yet. We will talk to the Smoore factory the end of this month to see if there is any possibility they can make such products for us. Or else we can only have other factories make such products for us.

I would love a manual batt for the 401. Cash is making (eventually) a 401 adaptor for his Prodigy (I've ordered one for my 901). This cut off is really annoying me

I like the black batt w/ blue LED as well.. used it last night but it draws way more attention. So far all positive.... but it sucks when you only have 2 batts on you and all your smoker friends want to play with it.. worse when you use the blue LED so people you barely know flock over to see what the heck it is then beg to try it. I like the red LED best for public... it is also fun to freak people out by pretending to put put it out on my eyelid. I have done that to a few people I know who have never seen one and the reactions are priceless! It helps that I go "aaaaah!" when I do it. Great way to introduce my smoking friends to it~_*
I have been looking for a 401\2 mod as I like the atomizer and also want to keep things simple and stick to one unit for parts.. So if Cash puts out a 401 adapter, I will def want a Prodigy... I do NOT want to use recessed atomizers.. I like this atomizer... a LOT! I want the manual battery exp so I can use my 401 anywhere... it is too sensitive with wind and sound. Other than that... I love it!
Just to beat a dead horse..
I have had 2 orders with absolutely e-cigs and both have arrived from China in 7 days, and no issues with orders besides a slight leakage on a sample pack of liquid.
BTW it's been said, but once you get your tracking number track from the USPS site. Seems the chinese shipper tracking always says shanghai until the USPS send back that it has been delivered.
The only problem I have with Absolutely e-cigs is that they don't offer the higher 24mg or 36mg strengths of juice. I think I'll be happier with a higher strength and I'll have to find another supplier for that.
I just made my first order with AEC.. I just could not wait till next month. I HAD to get the realistic looking m401 for my friend. Got that and an extra atomizer in white, and some prefilled carts for him to get used to and then can refill.

Are the 401's supposed to get more vapor than, say a 4081????? few more question marks????
b/c, as much as i love my new 401's (got more than one), i'm sorry, but my 4081's kick the **** out of it as far as vapor... maybe i just have good 4081's?? I'd say at least 1/3 more smoke out of the superminis, no matter what juice i smoke out of all of em... and that's with 2 seconds less of a draw on them too..(cutoff).
and nevermind if i put my 4081's on the passthrough, it's just no contest...
is this right??? Still like the 401's better (just way more advantages to them), but, i can choke on the vapor i get out of the supermini's.. i mean, they look like a rap video, whereas the 401's look like i'm smoking a capri...
dunno.. Maybe i'll play around with them some more. I put my best hitting juice in them (a chocolate/coffee mix i made somewhere around 30mg/ml), but still the superminis just clean up the 401's on vapor/throat hit...
it just doesn't sound right after all i've read, but, not been my experience. If i want a vapor fest, i pull out the 4081.
*nevermind*... I just did a back to back test of two each 401 and 4081. It does seem that the 401 gives more vapor off a battery. The 4081 gives a better throat hit though (which can sway ones judgement quite a bit). both are pretty fricking wicked and apparently all my e-cigs are hitting pretty kickingly. I think the primer hit that the 4081 gives makes it seem like more is coming your way....... it doesn't look as much as the 401, but feels like more.
now i'm gonna go lay down

something i just noticed with my 401.
Was that i was smoking it, and all the while, my atomizer wasn't even touching the juice wick. I would always drip the atty wick before putting in a new cart, and wonder why my cart always seemed to stay so wet looking after smoking for a session...
apparently i was only smoking what was on the atomizer itself b/c i just had an idea to push a needle up the hole on the cart, and sure enough, it moved up about 1/8th inch. After filling the cart, i was pushing it all the way to the bottom with the paperclip... big no no, at least on my 401.
It wasn't even touching the cart most of the time!!.. Now after a refill, i push it down with the atomizer itself so as to ensure a connection. I hope that the physical pushing isn't bad for it,,, maybe after a cart install, i'll just push it up for a contact through the cart hole instead. but it's obvious it wasn't making contact.
My super minis never did this, they always made a good connect...
Might want to check if your cart wick is even on your atomizer. I thought it would all fit together right, but apparently the tolerances aren't as close as i'm used to.
smokes much better for much longer now. I think this is why my 4081's were working so much better... I was gimping my 401 from the start!!

I had a similar problem with one atomizer not making contact with the cart material. Turned out that the atomizer bridge was pushed down to far into its housing. Gently used a small precision screwdriver to lever it up 1/8 inch and all was well.
