Its in this forum because I and several other concerned folks have been monitoring all tobacco tax bills to ensure that they don't tax e-cigarettes, and to oppose unwarranted increases in tax rates for smokeless tobacco products, cigars and (for some) cigarettes.

Besides, this is big news for e-cigarette companies, vendors and consumers because e-cigarette sales are almost certainly going to sharply increase in MA when these new tax rates go into effect.


If szot knew that MA state legislators would override Patrick's veto, he/she would have posted that comment on this thread before the override occurred.
