made it 14 hours

I'm visiting my parents and I'm still in the process of switching to ecigs permanently, and I made it 14 hours before I finally gave in and went out for 1 analog...I am still proud of myself though...that's the longest I've gone without one (while awake the whole time LOL) since I've started to switch. Night is the hardest for me, and I do think that when I get my KR8 and can stop using this cheap super mini I will be able to switch over more easily. I think the main thing is that I can only take a couple of soft long draws (with not much flavor or th) before the atty gets hot. With the analogs I can take long hard deep puffs for 10 minutes straight. But still, I'm doing well I think...I'll get there!

When we were on our way out for dinner I was telling my sis that I am going to be making my own juice and my brother started teasing me and then my parents chimed in (something about sounding like I need my own crack den) when I said "hey, do you guys want me to quit or not?" They all shut up after that (I'm the only smoker in my family)

Anyhow, it was a good birthday for me all in all...the dinner and bday cake tasted extra good since my taste buds are starting to come back a bit. Although the farm smell is also much stronger now that my sense of smell is starting to come back

Way to go jen. You'll stop smoking before you know it. Vaping is a new and sometimes frustrating experience. Biggest thing is that you are trying and that's worth it. Find yourself some good gear and juices that cut the craving and you'll be on your way to a new smoke-free set of lungs.

That's terrific Jenni! I started out with an inferior starter kit and was still left wanting until I got my KR8. It really helped me, and once I was able to settle into a couple of juices/cartos that worked well for me I didn't want to pick up the analogs again!

WTG Jenni!!!!!!! I've been smoke free for 7 months and have not inhaled 9169 analogs. I never would have believed I could do that. I was a 2 packer/day +. If I can do it after smoking for 42 years, anyone can do it. I didn't mean to quit analogs so quick, but I did. What a great birthday present to yourself. I am extremely proud of you!!!!

Keep up the good work. It took me a couple of weeks of doing both analog and ecigs before I quit. If that model you purchased doesn't work out, I recommend the eGo-T. Good TH and plenty of vapor.

Happy birthday, and definitely hang in there!

Even if vaping only helps you cut back at first, that's still a huge improvement! I'm a newbie as well, but the more I vape, the more I look forward to it rather than the old analogs. It's only been a week for me and even after dinner the first thing I think of is "Where my ego", and not "Let me vape so that I can resist having a Winston".

The KR808 I have has been great. I get plenty of vapor with my 100% vg juice, and enough TH from my 36mg nic. I am satisfied with what I have and at this point see no need to move to another PV.
I hope you enjoy the pleasure of vaping for a long time.
