Hiiiiiii! Good Christmas here, got everything I wanted! Eco friendly, non porous cutting boards, Pyrex measuring cups, waterproof hiking boots, a free geyser from a vendor who I really love (i love dino but I'm not referring to dino so don't bug him for free stuff lol), and lots of candy.

In vape news, I got in on that deal for the rose tank for 7.99 so I can't wait for that to come in.

FWIW, I'm "that guy" who built Dino's Clapton coils. Since the guitar strings I use are stainless steel, I only used the strings to wrap the 32g kanthal, after which I removed the guitar string and inserted a 28g kanthal core. I do have a pack of nickel strings that I bought to try out, but probably won't, I could probably use one of those as a core for someone with a device that has a temp control function... But nickel strings are a pain in the .... to work with.

.

Oh, you're THAT guy! Well in that case, WELCOME And a special Bah Humbug from me :)
(I'd be more cheerful but I've had some horrible virus and totally missed xmas due to delirium).

Shadav, I was looking at your Madtown adv blend from a while back:

1/3 Caramel Custard
1/3 Coconut Cream Custard
1/3 Donut Run

I have some Caramel Custard coming (possibly already in mailbox) as well as a little left of the Coconut Cream Custard. (The only reason I have any left is because it's 6 nic, so I always mix it a little of it with something else.) I don't have Donut Run, but do you think it is basically the same as Spanish Donut without the cinnamon--I mean, would it sub in here just as well you think, adding only the cinnamon flavor--or create a different animal altogether?

I'll be trying this out (w/ SD) either way, but...would like your opinion.

Maybe...I dunno, Spanish donut might be a cinnamon donut run but I didn't find donut run to taste fried and yeasty like Spanish donut. It should work though.

Haven't tried the Spanish donut yet...its on this order;)
I'd think it'd taste just as good...I mean Carmel, coconut, cinnamon, fried donut....what could go wrong?
Lately I've been stuck on a weird blend of coconut, banana, New York cheesecake.

Ok I know I keep toying with the idea...but I'd like to try my arthritis hands at making my own coils...so what's easy, not so messy/fussy to build and good materials? And how exactly does a coil jig work and is there one better than another?
Might be looking for a nice dripper but for the moment I'll see what I can do with my et, it's rebuildable but I've always just bought cheap 50 premade a from fasttech. But think I've finally out grown stock coils...need something better.

Shadav, I bet coil building won't be too bad....the way I do them is use the spool as a weight with larger motions. It makes it easier to wrap. And if you set them using a drill bit or toothpick or something the worst part would be tightening the screws, but I always use a full sized screwdriver, not the tiny one all attys come with. You get more torque. And it is easier on the hands.

So I've decided my Megan clone has got to go. One needs a stupid long center pin to get it to fire and my options are few. Does anyone want it? 15 bucks....or a defend juice trade.

Is this anything an (absolutely brand) new vaper would have a problem using--even with the cheapest possible tank set-up, like a gs-h2 (one of those plastic bottom-coil-replaceable jobbies that replaced the CE4)? I'm thinking about it for my brother, but so far he has only this kind of tank and probably won't get interested in dripping until he's really over smoking. But i know he would like the looks of it better than the spinner.

Also, can you say what a center pin is for? I come across it mentioned all the time when I read about vaping but haven't got a grip on what its function is. I don't use a mechanical, so I guess there is no analogue on a vv/vw type vaporizor...? Sorry to be with the dumb questions :/

Where is everybody? I wake up from my fevered stupor and missed christmas...and it's quiet in the Den. Ominous...

Well, I just got around to re-trying Cup of Joe. The first time I tried it, I was mix-happy and I mixed it with something (can't remember what--probably like three things) instead of just tasting it alone first, and it seemed really bitter. But I just loaded a fresh tank with it and it's Very Nice. I've only tried a couple of coffee vapes other than this one: Killer Juice's Caramel Latte and Hangsen Coffee. Both are good, but I really like COJ. It's something along the lines of a real cup of diner coffee: a little cream, a little sugar--like Shadav said in her review: not overdone. Of course i'm going to end up mixing it again after a bit. Oh, I think I mixed it with a pecan flavor, like pecan praline, possibly. And it really didn't work. I'll try some plain caramel and/or cream after I finish this tank.

I bought my brother a MT gift cert for xmas and now he's saying every time he chooses an ejuice he thinks he will like, he ends up not liking what he thought he would like and flavors he wouldn't expect to like, he likes. So he wants me to choose for him.

If people would be so kind as to list their top few Madtown Flavors (say, 5? More or less if you like, and why, if possible) i would really appreciate it. I know what I like, but everything I like, he says "tastes like waffles". Help me out Den Peeps?!

There's a center pin on the connection of every atty and a corresponding pin on the top cap of a mod. This is your positive connection. Must touch pins, touch battery equals electricity baby!

Twinkie, Spanish donut, donut run, key lime cheesecake, summer sweet. Because they are awesome ;-) And then melon haven, strawberry ice cream, shoot everything. There are a couple I don't care for, blue moon ice cream, honey badger, butter nutz (actually pretty good IF you like butterscotch and for vape I don't care for butterscotch), and for the life of me I can't get the lemon pound cake to taste like lemon pound cake. All the fruit mixes are spot on too.

I fixed the Megan! I'm so happy! There is this STUPID effing spring between the top cap pin and the screw that holds it in and thus contacts the battery. It was so compressed you couldn't get a contact without battery rattle and then it would only fire a little fart and stop. I effing pulled that spring double its length, added a 1mm magnet to the battery for good measure and now it is a damn beast! Snoopy dance!

My top 5 in no particular order
Salty sweet, why? Well it's just freaking near perfection!
Cup of Joe is a must try for any coffee lover
Cherry Lime Slushy is a power punch to your tastebuds
Soft Serve Strawberry is just that, smooth, sweet, creamy strawberry and the smell drives everyone wild ;)
Mounds of Chocolate is just like vaping a mounds candy bar...dark chocolate and coconut!

Honorable mentions
Smooth sailing. While I do not like tobaccos this was surprisingly good and might be on my to reorder list for those times when I just can't vape enough.
Carmel custard after letting it steep
Strawberry Mango, while I do not at all like mangos this juice rather surprised me. They blend so well together it was quite good but just not a juice for me.
And of course I love all the pineapples and coconut flavors but they tend to irritate me after a while but so do the real things too nothing to do with Dino's juice.
