Yay, my Madtown Caramel Custard arrived!! Or rather, I finally was able to pick it up from the mailbox. This is one case where my slowness is an advantage--i waited so long to get it that it's pretty much fully steeped "right out of the mail". I have to say, about this juice, that it is one of those that gets better and better, so if I can hold off, I know that at four weeks it will have even more dimension. I cannot recommend this flavor enough, if you like caramelly things.
Also enclosed was the "sample" of wicking I requested--something to use other than cotton in the Magma when I get amped up to try building again. My "sample" is like...several feet of silica with some wire, lol. An embarrassment of riches from Dino, once again. Also, there's some of what I think is the Japanese cotton? It's a flat pad, so i'm planning to slice into thin strips, which will be much easier than twisting cotton with my messed up arthritis-hands.
