I won some caramrl macchiatto eliquid last week, and really liked it....so I decided to try to make my own :) It turned out really good! It does not taste exactly like the one I won. I did not have marshmallow so I used whipped cream, so ehen I get to buy vape stuff I am going to get some marshmallow flavoring :) Dino, do you know of a good marshmallow flavoring? Or anyone else know?

ooohhhh those are nice
awwww  and you even got orange

is it really orange, like the pic shows? or is it more salmon pink or manila envelope colored?
i think these will be a hit, will help hide the overhang from larger tanks....only thing that could make it better (not that I really care, but for some...) a place on the sleeve to connect a lanyard.

Once upon a time I wanted to see vape pics. Dino posted one. He's lanky and light haired, no facial hair and handsome and 30 something i think, and white, I'm guessing Italian what with the name. If I remember correctly.

I shoulda picked up some of that strawberry limeade, but suppose I'll pick some up with some more cinnamon tease on Saturday ☺️. Although I'm having a hard time putting down das dragon juice.

Ok guys. So Dino recieved some rebuild kits for the Kayfun V4 and I picked up a pack to check something out.

201412221116032153.jpg

From the image above the rebuild kit comes with parts numbers 1,2,4,6,7,9,10,11,13,14,15,16,18,19,20,21-24,27,29,31,34,36,37 and 39-40.

For this post though the most important parts are 9,10 and 11. These parts on the original are some of the parts that I consider to cause most of the troubles for the clones that Dino picked up. Part 11, a round metal ring threaded on the inside fits into part 10 and sits on top of part 9. Then part 1 threads into part 11. Because part 11 is round on the outside and part 10 is round on the inside you could not fully tighten part 1 unless section A was attached to section B and even then you couldn't tell if part 1 was fully threaded into part 11. By replacing these three parts it's much easier to tighten down part number 1 and it's actually been stable in resistance if you loosen up part number one by a turn or two to help the shortness of the 510 nipple (or at least for me it seems short). With the base fully assembled this gives the 510 connecter more of a "spring adjusting" type feel to it. I know this might sound confusing. Hopefully I'm not just crazy here and others have had this problem as well.

The rebuild kit does come with a replacement number 1 part but it feels like it's made out of tin or some other light weight metal and I didn't want to use it since that's the positive terminal for the electrical connection.

I'll be running the tank as my primary vape for the next week and I'll let you guys know what I think after a few fillups and such. Normally by about tank 2 or 3 I would have to take section A apart and tighten down parts 9 and 1, along with a good cleaning. Hopefully this will also help with keeping part 9 from backing itself out.

Very interested how that rebuild kit turns out. I've been having a lot of problems with mine - leaking, parts backing out, etc. Now part 1 doesn't even adjust, it just turns and if I want it out I have to push it through the top. Mine also looks like it didn't come with parts 9-11 (???).

*EDIT* I'm now SURE at least part 9 is missing, or a I have a different design. Part 1 goes into a round fitting that free-floats, which means unless it's pushed down while threading it's not going to marry. It also means the 510 connection can be pushed up into the body whenever the liquid flow is shut off by raising the build deck, unless that spring (part 12) is what stops that from happening.

Are the replacement o-rings a thicker measure than the original? It seems 95% of the leakage problems folks have discussed on the various V4 threads have been fixed by upgrading to a 1.6mm o-rings for parts 16 & a8.

If you need a rebuild kit Fenway let me know.

You lost me at hey guys.

I had to replace part 16 on mine but I used the one that came with the spare parts kit out of the box. I haven't spent time to check and see if they are thicker gauge orings but you might want to check yours out for rips or gouges in your orings.

Dino has a display model at the shop and I loaded it up with a coil and some juice and it leaked all over the place. After taking it apart again I found part number 4 missing. This was either something missing from the manufacturer or a customer might have taken it apart, there's no way of telling.

Mine is still performing well and it's even going through more juice then before. So I don't think this is just new car smell syndrome.

The leaking issue was dealt with the week I picked it up. Replacing these parts is making it burn better then it was before and I'm burning up more juice then I was before.

I was going through a tank and a half last week. Today I'm already through that and I still have 9 hours or so to go. I'm betting I'll end up going through two and a half tanks today.

Big fluffy clouds.
