i wish madvapes would get more stock on their acrylic tube mods they got like what 2 of each color? like cummon i dont believe thats fair to everybody because honestly who knows if and when they will even get any of those mods back in sorry guys i just got very angry at this second and had to vent -_-

I'm sure they'll get more out there but it may take a while. I was fortunate and caught them when they were first added to their site. I knew to grab one while the going was good from past experience. When they first posted the acrylic pass-through's I hesitated and they never restocked them. I only managed to get one by going to their retail store in Charlotte, NC. The new acrylic tube mods are really nice so if you can get your hands on one, you won't regret it.
i kno i was debating on one but id need to get one and batteries and a charger -_- and that was goona b like 85.00 n the fiance is just like you have one that works ( I have the volcano inferno) which isnt bad i was actually looking at their 3.7 v box mods cheap and very well liked im just hesitant on that because i use the smoktech dual coil tanks at 1.5 ohm and ppl say the protection on the batteries wont let it fire below 2 ohms
I don't think their 3.7 volt box mods are regulated. If they're not they should be fine with dual coils. A roughstack is really good with 1.5 ohm dual coils too. Hope you get a chance to get one of those acrylics when they're back in stock - they are unique!
There will be more soon for sure. Hoogie76 indicated a new supply of acrylic and just needing the time to get one of his modders getting them made.
I'd also like to mention that since you live where the temperature can get cold, you might consider a different mod/different build material if you'll be vaping outside in the winter. I've had 2 blue lightnings and a gold rush. A week of below zero weather and now I have 1 blue lightening and 1 goldrush because my other blue lightening cracked and broke a few pieces out when I dropped it while shoveling my driveway.

I've got a box mod that works great with a 1.25ohm DC carto. It's especially good with 2 x IMR 14500s but works 98% as well with regular protected 14500s. It a 3xAA box (translucent red) but it's not a regulated mod. The two batteries are wired up in parallel so you get double the mAh and available power (current) but still at 3.7v. I built it to have a small box mod that would run a long time and it wasn't till sometime later I realized it worked really well on real low resistance atties / cartos. There is a commercially available mod like this but I've owned one and was NOT impressed with the build quality. That's why I built this one. It's the red box on the far left of this pic. If I had it to do over again I'd probably use a regular horn button switch instead of the one on it (sticks out just a tad too far).

PPS: I've also got a VV project on the bench that also will fire them because it has a 6A regulator in it.... maybe someday I'll get time to finish it. So it can be done. It just takes a little heavier stuff to make it work right. ;-)

BTW, the Acrylic Tube Mods are back in stock. Anyone know if they will run on flat top 18650s?
Mine's got a blob of solder in the center of the positive end just like my Roughstack, so there should be no problem. There's enough room that a small magnet could be used as well if necessary.
