Awesome RDA. It really does a great job with flavor! The vapor production is pretty darn great, too - not as good as say, on a Little Boy, but still thoroughly respectable!

The only (minor) flaw the Magma has, IMHO, is that you have to hold the air flow control ring in place while you're screwing the top cap back on or it'll move and goof up the air flow.

You're gonna love it, Gavcook! :)

Can't speak to Fasttech - don't know.

The Magma is an awesome RDA, depending on what you are looking for out of a dripper this should really impress you. I am assuming you care more about flavor then vapor production cause your buying a Magma not a Mutation. If you want flavor, you are going to be IMPRESSED! The Magma is in my top five drippers and I vape on mine at least once daily. The vapor production is fine IMHO but I don't vape for clouds, its easy to build on, looks pretty nice and puts out some of the best flavor out of all RDAs IMHO. As far as FT goes, the prices are good and if you do your research before buying (i.e read revies and do not just buy the cheapest product-go for the best based on reviews/comments and it should still be cheap AND perform good!) Shipping to me in Canada now n days takes around 6 business days. I order Monday and for the last year I have been getting my packages the week after on Tuesday 99% of the time and rarely on Wednesday/Thursday however never latter. Since FT implemented the e-packet shipping option things have been going so GREAT for me and all my Canadian vapeing friends so if you can get e-packet you really should, it cost like $4 for a massive multi-hundred dollar order and comes sooo much faster.

Anyways man, enjoy your dripper and be sure to come back and let us know how she vapes. I personally use twisted 26 gauge in my Magma, meters out at .8 ohms and provides an extremely satisfying vape.

hey guys i have just ordered the magma rda from fasttech was just wanting peoples opinions on the magma and also fasttech i'm getting the impression that they take a while to deliver to the Uk but had to order due to the price was less than half what you would pay in the uk and also free shipping so cant complain.

I live in a small island in the Caribbean, so shipping costs is a big deal for me.
I've made about 10 orders from fasttech; first one was experimental, $20, and it came in 3 months.
2 orders never made it.
I've got about 5 orders currently en route.
Thing picked up when I started using $1 Swiss Post option; orders come in about 6 weeks and tracking information is pretty good - I find out from the tracking info when my local post office has it waiting for me, even before the post office attempts to drop a note in my mail box saying to come pick it up.

Lately though, a lot of my orders have an item or two that they wait for to restock or something, then they giveup waiting and split the order, so there's a lot of unnecessary delays which you can avoid by checking the stock status- things like "Ships next day" or "in stock", but when you see "Ships in 7 business days" that could turn into some extra delay.

After you place an order, you can also go back and check the list to see what/if items are delaying shipment, and cancel those items to send your shipment right away; you get a coupon, and you can go back and reorder those cancelled items to come in a separate shipment

I drilled out the largest airholes on one of my 30mm magmas, and the resulting burring/distortion made the ring basically lock/grit nicely into place. Oh, did same thing happened with my 22mm version, looking at it right now.

thanks for all your replies guys cant wait to try out my magma when it arrives, what is the best gauge coil to use and what have you found is the best build that works on the magma?

Take your pick really. I have been using it with 11 wraps Ni200 (~28.5 gauge, 0.3mm) on a 3mm mandrel. Single spaced coil. Vaping at 25w/430F on VF clone with both air holes wide open. 80:20 VG:pG and Muji OC wick. Absolutely fantastic and absolutely rock solid on the DNA40 clone!!

A spare kayfun o-ring can take care of that -- put it on the magma before you put the AFC ring on, and the AFC stays where you set it, you have to make a REAL effort to turn it.

Now that I think on it, when I tried a kayfun o-ring, it seemed a little too "fat", I couldn't shove the AFC ring over it -- but I'm a girl; YMMV. :D I think I actually used one of the spare o-rings from my Smok RBST, which I don't use anyway. Those o-rings are the same size, but more "slender" if you get what I mean.

You might be able to get it to work -- someone told me this trick, specifically mentioned the kayfun o-rings, but I couldn't get the ring over it. Maybe just the specific clone (tobeco) or even specific atty, is just a hair fatter than it should be.
