This is a massive step, and one of only two commercially viable direct drip mods I have seen (the other being the modular auto-feed system in the GG that will be released shortly). This looks like it is almost the perfect vaping device.
A few suggestions to make it absolutely perfect:
1) Integrated recharging circuit with cutoff for protected batteries. This was mentioned by a previous poster and would be extremely awesome, particularly if it used a mini-USB to USB cable interface rather than a custom job (ease of finding replacement cables). Even if the cable included the major charging hardware to keep electronic clutter to a minimum in the mod at the cost of needing a specific cable it would be effective.
2) Steel reinforcement bands inside to make it more rugged to shock and crushing. If the unit was fab molded in two halves (which could be done cheaply by a manufacturer, though would require a large upfront cost due to the large scale that such a request would require) it could be made to fit around the steel reinforcement structure. I suspect this would be a pricey mod: I wouldn't want to accidentally put something on it and watch it squish.
3) Along the same lines, a rubberized sleeve in the grip area. Again, would probably need to be fabbed, but if done right they could be done in various colors for user customization and would be a huge selling point. Think of those sleeves for ipods to get the idea. This would also add a great deal of shock protection to protect the buyer's investment.
4) Use of a standard bottle format. You probably are doing this already, but just sayin'.
Pie in the sky time:
5) Automatic juice feed. Imeo seems to be doing this by capillary feed direct onto the atomizer wick in his mod (requiring custom atomizers, but since his atomizers will be designed for higher voltage use this kind of is a wash). You're going the spray/drip route, so I'd suggest an electric micropump that is activated when the atomizer is on ... something like a Micro EO pump (
http://nft-eop.co.jp/en/pdf/download/poster/features_en.pdf ). If the pump is spec'd right and the delivery is correct, it could feed at the same rate the atomizer consumes fluid and would make everything automated. I don't see this type of application happening in the near future, making this pie in the sky. In the meantime, a manual dripper would work
