I'll put it this way - when mine got here I charged one of the batteries for 8 hours and vaped the other one. I've seen no difference in how long each battery holds a charge or vapes until dead. Since doing that I've come across various different opinions of whether it matters or not, and I tend to lean toward not with the way Li-Ion batteries are supposed to work.

So here I am T minus one hour before my kgo gets here. Feeling like a little kid on xmas I'm excited with out doubt. But I have a few questions. Do I really ned to charge the batteries 8 hours before I get to vaping.... I'm to damn ecited to keep puffing this v2. Any quick tips?
In my experience (limited) the batteries arrive at least 70% charged. So, no not 8 hrs, prob less than 2hrs just to top off. BUT, be patient, its important that you fully charge the first several times.

Thanks V2! I wouldn't recommend letting them go all the way dead more than once to figure out how long one will last you in a situation where charging isn't an option. What I usually do is use one and throw the other on the charger until it's green, and as soon as I notice it's green I take it off and let it sit until I notice a bit of a difference in flavor / throat hit on the one I'm using. Then that one hits the charger until it's topped off and I use the other. Vicious circle really, but if I take a fresh one to work with me it will last until I get home, put the low battery from the morning on the charger (I don't like to leave them charging when I'm out), and give me an hour or two of vape time before the other is ready to come off with quite a bit of charge to spare. I never really have to worry about a backup.

One thing I wouldn't do is leave it on the charger for extended periods of time while the green charged indicator is solid. There's always a chance for failure, and while the battery should be fine to sit on the charger for days (in theory), there have been stories of the things turning into flame-spouting rockets because protection / regulation failed while on the charger and the cell got overloaded.

Surely would be a spectacular sight for the fourth tho lol. No I don't ever leave a battery on longer than it should be. If Ithrow one in when I go to bed bet your ... I set an alarm to wake up and pull it off. But as for vape time I'm sure it will last me some time and I hate running batts completely dead for some reason. Just me I guess. I can vape a v2 dead in two hours because it just doesn't phase me like it use to. But now I go maybe 45 mins throw it on the pcc and go on. All dependent on how bored I am at work sometimes il go longer but no need to carry a usb cord and apcc everywhere now thank god.
Thanks for the info tho man I apresh it

I'm with you guys. I'm not waiting for batteries, but the juices I like are running out quick...I'm down to a dozen drags or so. I have more coming in today, mail usually comes in around 1pm (15 minutes from now) but I'm going to have to run home to check and don't want to be there too early. I only have a half hour window, so it's not like I can impatiently wait by the door for an hour or two if he's late.

It was waiting in the mailbox when I got home at 1:06pm. Finally getting my RY4 fix, and I have enough of it this time to last a little bit ;).

That's the only thing that bums me out about buying samples. It's still a 6-7 day turn time, and 5ml of something I really like is only going to last 4 days (when I'm sampling the others as well of course).

I think I'm making 15ml my new sample size :vapor:.

The mail man is a .......! An hour past his normal when I'm half an hour late time. I see the mail truck but no mail man in site ARGH! hope you licked out and got your juice dawg!

I think that ecig related shipments somehow take on some sort of weird shipping delay situation. I have noticed a direct correlation between how badly I am waiting on a delivery, to the lateness of the mailman or some other situation that delays delivery. Weird. This must be one of "Murphy's Laws".

I'd strongly suggest ordering a larger size in at least one juice you've liked, lol! It's never a good thing to run out. :) That way you can continue to purchase 5/6 ml sample sizes until you find your true, daily vape.

Keep an eye on the member classified ads as well. There are often fabulous juice lot deals where you're paying $.25-.$50/ml. It's a great way to get a quick juice collection so you can narrow down what you really like.

I really love that this is such a helpful community & I'm proud to be a part of it! Hope your mailman shows soon, hater!
