i see a 14c battery is recommended, but what if you wont ever reach 20watts and youre more of a 2-3.5 amp vaper? i like 8.5-9 watts with LR rba's. would an aw imr 18650 be enough oomph?
edit, i guess aw imr is 15c.

I didn't see where it specified 14C....I see 7 amp constant.....the C rating is dependent on the capacity of the battery
yeah, thanks for the link! im not very good with batteries and c ratings...gonna read up now.
As for 18650's, Panasonic CGR18650CH batts have a 10amp max discharge. They will work fine. I believe AW IMR's are a 5 amp max discharge, thats below the recommendation. Someone correct me if im wrong...
