Good Morning Major! Good Moring Mrs. Major!

I am encouraged and happy to read your last post; God speed in healing you both. It sounds like Mrs. Major is doing better than can be expected for someone who has undergone heart surgery!

Please, Major, honor us with one for the stories from your life. You never know what awaits you when you go off trail.....

The Road Not Taken

"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."

Good Morning Mr and Mrs Major!

Yes, please share your story. I think most of us who come here have shared some kind of story. We have gathered here for you, so it must be time for us to sit and listen to one of yours.

The moments that change our life certainly mould us. There is something to be said about the role played by the chisel of life upon the uncarved block which we all begin with. They say that one cannot know compassion without suffering within life. Maybe that is why so many have been drawn here with stories.

The Buddha said:

1) To Live is to suffer
2) The origin of suffering is craving and attachment
3) The end of suffering can be attained
4) The Noble Eightfold Path of Wisdom and Ethical Conduct is the way to end suffering

So I've got my comfy chair pulled up, a nice glass of Badger cider, a big bowl of those US grapes in the supermarket at the moment.

My ears and mind are open.

:)

Good Morning Major!
Good Morning Mrs.!

Here we are with yet another fine Sunday morning. The temperature is mild and fall is slowly weaving it's hues into our local landscape painting this day, month, and year of our lives. I am so happy to be posting, again, this morning. :)

Let us know how you both are doing. I pray that the healing and recovery continues to lift you both up and out of your ills back to many other fine mornings like this one.

Progress...that's the thing......moving forward to growth.
