Good Morning Major! Good Morning Mrs. Major!

It seems that my breathing has become even better this last week! My sinuses opened up even more than I thought possible and after some slight issues with mucus, and a nosebleed, they are W-I-D-E open and don't hurt! My sinuses haven't felt this good since I was 14 or fifteen years old. The marked difference in my better breathing is pronounced. I guess that as we struggle along, doing all we are able to, that the fruits of this laborius undertaking are often forgotten until their sucesses, no matter how small or large, are thrust upon us.

Good Morning Major! Good Morning Mrs. Major!

I am pleased to have the honor to make back to back posts!

Major, and Mrs. Major, I just about can't believe that I am actually over 9 months tobacco free! Little by little, step by step, day by day, I'm achieving something that I never thought was posssible. I was close to giving up hope that I'd ever quit smoking; yet I had to give one more new thing one last try -vaping!

Good Morning Major! Good Morning Mrs. Major!

Happy salutations fellow posters and positive thoughts to you also.

I think you know the concern I have for you Major, Mrs. Major, but I also share it with my fellow posters. Becoming ambivalent is it's own trap. Apathy breeds more of the same and both lack a certain bravery. When you don't care it's easy to take the lilly livered way out.

Don't ever stop being involved, concerned, and interested.

Good morning Major and Mrs. Major,

Just a note to let you know I have been sick the last couple weeks with bronchitis and cold. That is why I haven't been around so much. I am still thinking of you and hoping that with each passing moment you get closer to wholeness. :)

Good Morning Major! Good Morning Mrs. Major!

My time off is almost at an end. I'll work my "long week" this week and it is almost always challenging. When you split your waking time between two days it can get odd. I see people when I'm coming into work then when I see them close to my quitting time they are talking about yesterday and I realize it was the last time I saw them! :) I think today's quotation, from another American great, may help me with that.

"Don't let yesterday use up too much of today."

Good Morning Major! Good Morning Mrs. Major!

I am so very happy today to have my yardbyrd avatar updated. My original yardbyrd gif is 17 or 18 years old! A big thank you to Jah Flynn, from Alice in Vapeland, and an equally large, heartfelt thank you to morri!

Thanks a million morri! You've helped redesigned my avatar and I just love it. I hope everyone likes it as much as I do!

So....again...this will, oddly enough, lead up to a quotation! (I know you all are in shock:D)

"Use only that which works, and take it from any place you can find it.”

Hey guys. :) Sorry for the delay in posting but it has been a crazy 2 months. I am still fighting and one day will seem fine but my health sneak attacks me and I wind up sicker than before.

Like I have always said, there is a reason for everything, sometimes we just don't see it at the time. Thank you all for your support, thoughts and prayers and I fight on.

poem about HOPE..............

If you can look at the sunset and smile, then you still have hope.

If you can find beauty in the colors of a small flower, then you still have hope.

If you can find pleasure in the movement of a butterfly, then you still have hope.

If the smile of a child can still warm your heart, then you still have hope.

If you can see the good in other people, then you still have hope.

If the rain breaking on a roof top can still lull you to sleep, then you still have hope.

If the sight of a rainbow still makes you stop and stare in wonder, then you still have hope.

If the soft fur of a favored pet still feels pleasant under your fingertips, then you still have hope.

If you meet new people with a trace of excitement and optimism, then you still have hope.

If you give people the benefit of a doubt, then you still have hope.

If you still offer your hand in friendship to others that have touched your life, then you still have hope.

If receiving an unexpected card or letter still brings a pleasant surprise, then you still have hope.

If the suffering of others still fills you with pain and frustration, then you still have hope.

If you refuse to let a friendship die, or accept that it must end, then you still have hope.

If you look forward to a time or place of quiet and reflection, then you still have hope.

If you still buy the ornaments, put up the Christmas tree or cook the supper, then you still have hope.

If you can look to the past and smile, then you still have hope.

If, when faced with the bad, when told everything is futile, you can still look up and end the conversation with the phrase…”yeah…BUT.,” then you still have hope.

Hope is such a marvelous thing. It bends, it twists, it sometimes hides, but rarely does it break. It sustains us when nothing else can. It gives us reason to continue and courage to move ahead, when we tell ourselves we’d rather give in.

Hope puts a smile on our face
when the heart cannot manage.

Hope puts our feet on the path when our eyes cannot see it.

Hope moves us to act
when our souls are confused of the direction.

Hope is a wonderful thing, something to be cherished and nurtured, and something that will refresh us in return.

And it can be found in each of us, and it can bring light into the darkest of places.

Never lose hope ~
Have a beautiful God given morning~
