Goooood Morning Major! Goooood Morning Mrs. Major!
Sincere apologies for my absence of late. Some of the lowlights, dimmed by the "real world" that have kept me at bay: 3 visits to the car dealership for car maintenance and repair; increased work demands, concerns, and hassles; familial obligations of different sorts and varying lengths and duration; cutting the satellite cable and trying to figure out how to stream movie services (this one is probably the top time consumer); and last, but certainly not least 3 unexpected bills above and beyond the normal threshold requiring a lot of attention.
Do not be mistaken; I make no excuse for my own errs. I do, however, offer the reasons that have kept me away; the negative ones first.
Some of the positive things to report: I have won several drawings, contests, and prizes netting me a variety of hardware and a lot of
e-liquid. I did receive a tiny pay increase this year. I assume any increase, in these times, is a big plus. I only recently purchased and AGA-T2
rba which so far works extremely well. I have saved the best of the last; I am this month's winner of the first "April GG" contest and have won an Ithaka! I am overwhelmed by this last win and since I only just got an AGA-T2, yesterday, have a lot of homework to do before this wonderful
device arrives.
Too be sure, I have not forgotten you, or your family, or our cyberfamily here. I want to make sure you know that not one single day has gone by that you haven't been in my prayers. God willing no day will go by that you aren't.
Courage, Major, courage! I say this for my benefit as well as yours. I have had to meditate upon this statement a lot lately and it is a good thing. Take care of yourself and be well. God bless you, Major, your entire family, and the posters to this thread. May he bless us all mightily with his tender, Divine Mercy.
"Courage is reckoned the greatest of all virtues; because, unless a man has that virtue, he has no security for preserving any other." ~Samuel Johnson
