MAJOR PROBLEM with new clearomizer!!!!!

I got home last night and my order of Vision Stardust 1.6ml,2.4ohm clearomizers was waiting on me. I've been vaping RY4 for a few days from a boge SR carto. (Didn’trealize they were SR at the time.) Ienjoy the flavor and everything about the RY4. I bought some unknown brand name clearomizers from a local shop. They look exactly like the stardust and canbe rebuilt with the same parts. (I think). Ohm’s were 1.8 so I filled one up let it set and put it on mytwist. The taste is horrible. I can't describe it it's so bad. Do some venders coat the wicks sometimes. I got two of these and don't want to waste my juice if I don't get this figured out. I'm going broke trying to buy extras so any advice will be helpful. By the way I went back to my boge with the RY4 in it and it taste just fine.

Turn the voltage down.

Yeah try turning the voltage down below 4v, something like 3.7-3.9v.

I turned down the voltage from 4.0 all the way down to 3.2 no difference or improvement.

Some clearomizers need to be cleaned first. Take it apart and wash and then dry burn.

Either put in bowl of hot water for 10 minutes or hold under hot water tap with pliers or soak in everclear. If in bowl try and agitate slightly.

Some come with gallons of primer on them from the factory. Primer doesn't taste good.

I think he might be talking about a Kanger T2, the first tank of so tastes burnt, it should go away. A strong flavor like cinnimon or black licorice will help you get through the break in.

Some atomizers come with primer fluid that needs to be blown out, he is talking about a clearomizer.

I also have an RY4 that I absolutely cannot stand to use in a stardust or the vivi. It only tastes good in a bottom coil CE3 or a cartomizer like a Boge.
