Hi there, guys. I'm new. Fresh new.

My set Rx200 + Griffin tank.

My recipe: PG + VG as base, Distilled Water for diluting, Essential Oil for flavor, Non-nic (as for now I can't find a vendor in my city who sold it).

Ok, first of all, I already knew about the big fuss over the web about EO shouldn't use in vaping.

I didnt agree nor disagree. The reason I picked them up to mix in my e-juice is for right now I can't find any shop in my city who sell flavor concetrated, and finally I made an order on Ebay and need to wait 1 month more before those flavor concentrated come to me.

By the way, the taste not bad as I tried variety ratio and finally come up with something that can vape regularly, not too strong but full of nice smell (lemon, cinnamon, peppermint, sweet orange, green rice, coffee, coconut).

BUT, ya, the only thing now that I can not handle is the taste of sweet. As famous brand e-liquid I bought before, each one will give me a little or lot of sweet taste in my mouth or on my tounge. Very nice, and I like it. But to mix it myself, I got no clue.

Searching around the net, ppl suggested to use saccarozo for sweetening the e-liquid, and Distilled water to dilute the liquid (if use too high VG ratio). Here is what I have done:

I used sugar bag that I bought in super-market as the description is it contains 99,8% saccarozo, and made from sugar-cane.

I mixed it with DW, warm them a little up, then mix with PG/VG base and EO.
Then I put the liquid in an e-liquid glass bottle, warm them up around 45-60 Celcius without cap on, then taking it out, put cap on, shaking hard, put in warm water again, take out cap, leave it there for at least 2 hours, come back, shake a gain, let them rest 10 mins, then vaping.

The taste was ok, the sweet did appear.

But sooner I figured out that the liquid in my tank have a tiny brown stream inside it (thin but do have). The cotton change to brown and even black quite quick, the coil too. And after 1 week, all the liquid in my tank change into brown, the liquid in my e-liquid glass bottle is little darkened (not all brown like inside the tank, but do darkened).

What did I do wrong?

Is this happen because of saccarozo?

Yes. Sugar can not be vaped. It will turn to a sticky syrup and burn when heated. Turn brown/ black after sitting. Not sure what type of flavoring you are using but, it really is not safe to vape oil based flavorings. The lungs are able to evaporate off water vapor. Oil will accumulate and cause many problems.

It does say Essentinal Oil. But its not the oil for cooking or mechanic. Its draw out from natural like all other flavor concentrated that used in mixing e-liquid. They even more pure and strong and really can dilute by DW (it totally different for any other thing refer to word "oil" which cant be diluted by DW). I dont want to discuss about this, because its personal decision after all. Lol.

Ya, so my guess is right. Saccarozo is the main problem.
Now, can you share me the way to make my e-liquid have the sweet taste?
Does the sweet come from Flavor (beside PG and VG do give just a little sweet, but not like the sweet I tasted in famous brand e-liquid)?

VG is sweet enough on it's own I find so I don't use sweetener much. You ordered flavors from ebay but like many will have to wait to receive it!
Search results for: 'sweeteners'
I would suggest this site for reference to answer some of your questions about sweeteners and you might like to check out the DIY forums here on ecf.

Ok. Good. I was not sure if you were vaping flavors with true oils in them or not from your post.

I find that most flavors are sweet enough for me. If I need something to have extra sweetness, I will use another flavor to sweeten such as marshmallow, coconut, etc. Not enough to taste the flavor just enough to add sweetness to the mix.

Some people like to use cotton candy flavor to make their mixes sweeter. Some people use artificial sweeteners (not derived from sugar) but even these will gunk up coils and give an odd taste IMHO

The flavors that you are using now tend to be quite sour. Hopefully when you get your flavors from Ebay, you will have better results and find that you do not need a sweetener.

Good luck!

The flavorings most commonly used are in fact artificially created to bind with the base i.e. PG/VG
It is entirely your choice what you do but EO is not considered safe to use for inhalation even though they can be inhaled in some home remedy's for colds and so on. Perhaps use your VG and nicotine without flavors until your supply arrives just to be on the safe side.

Might want to fill in "Location" in your ECF profile, this will allow folks to recommend vape purchase information.
Not sure what this word is: "Saccarozo" ? Can you clarify?
Do you mean the artificial flavor Sucralose (USA term) ? If not, this may be part of your problem(s).
OMFG, there it is. Yes definitely this is the problem. My big mistake.
Saccharose - what I used - is made directly from sugar-cane, its natural sugar.
And the Sucralose that you mentioned is made from Saccharose with 3 (-OH) changed to 3 (-Cl), its stable, hard to be burned, no calorie, and safe for health, body can discard it after consume without any harm, and the sweet is 600 times compare to Saccharose.
Sh1tty me, why I made this big mistake. Lucky its not really poisonous after all.
Thank you thank you!!!

Thank you bro, Nic is hard to reach in my country, Vietnam, I will added it in my profile lately.
The Nic base I purchased from Heavengift is seperated with the Flavor concentrated from Ebay. Lets see which one can pass through my custom, haizzz.
Vape on PG/VG plain mix is ok, but I was a heavy smoker, try to quit smoking so that if the puff dont have any taste and the feel of Nic it will be very hard for me to keep on.
I though I should purchase more brand e-liquid to keep me on safeline first.
Thank you!

One of the best DIY sweeteners is pure sucralose, such as this one:
Amazon.com : Pure Sucralose (Granular) 250G, Meets FCC & USP Standards : Grocery & Gourmet Food
I made 10% solution in water (you may want PG) and use lightly (1 drop per 2-5 ml of juice). It is
very sweet, handle with care.
Thank you bro, will it burned up and ruined the coil and cotton?
Will the liquid change into dark or brown color?
Is there any weird taste or something?
As I used saccharose all of those thing happen, *sob*

So for now I had 2 choices:
1 is Stevia (natural)
2 is Sucralose (artifical)
Both is guaranteed by FDA so I think it would be safe for me to mix in e-liquid.
Thank you all guys
Yes, both a good, but some people hate aftertaste of Stevia (me included) and others do no like sucralose (they are wrong, of course). Both of these sweeteners are much more potent (sweeter) than ordinary sugar, we put just miniscule amounts of them in our juice, so they gunk coils much less. Just be sure you buy pure sucralose or Stevia. In food stores they are usually sold as a mixture with dextrose (glucose), and this mixture will gunk coils just as ordinary sugar. Check ingredients.

Thank you very much for your suggestion bro, I will take note and fully check them before purchasing.
