Making it pretty :)

So I wanted to jazz up this kgo battery. I used these craft pearl things that have sticky on the back. I really like the way it looks. My question is, is there anything I could put over it to seal it? Hair and fuzzies will get stuck in the sticky and make it not so pretty. Or should I take them off and use a different adhesive? Thanks guys!

Nice job. Great idea. Make sure that what you use is safe. There is some type of super glue that modders are useing that is safe, but saddly I can't remember what it is called. Maybe ask some modders, most are kick ... cool.

That really is pretty! I would definitely want to seal it somehow, esp since craft pearls have a tendency to lose their pearliness with wear, but I'm not sure what would be appropriate over a battery. I've been thinking about decorating mine with nail decals and Opi nail polish clear coat, but I'm wondering how that would effect the existing finish. So far, I've been too chicken to test it, but I can't see what it would hurt.

I've got an ego that I completely covered in red glitter nail polish. Works and looks great. I can't post a photo from my iPad and I'm traveling at the moment. Will try to remember to do it when I get home in 3 weeks. I used 2 coats of nail polish and 1 coat of clear.

The battery was suppose to be red but when it arrived it was this ugly brownish red. I just couldn't stand it.

Love the job you did! Plan on doing the same to a pale pink ego.
