Thanks I feel like I am getting the hang of things. I was definitely over complicating things. Once you take vocabulary out of the equation and start thinking in simple terms it all makes sense. Once I was able to, in my mind, simplify things to the basics (obtain battery, obtain tank, obtain flavor), it became easier to get my head around everything.
What is it that bugs you with the metal tip? I haven't really used it much yet.
I am confused by wattage. In my mind, voltage would equal the power going to the coil. More voltage = more heat. But now that I think about it a higher wattage bulb produces higher light/heat. Now I am confusing myself.
This is next on the shopping list.
I found my lips were getting irritated from the metal on my tank; a kind of stinging sensation; it was probably the chrome; probably has high lead content in it.
Good kitchen grade steel might not bother me.
I've seen glass tips online; I don't yet have a tank they would work with but I intend to get one.
A wattage control on your ecig tests the ohms on your coil and adjusts the voltage AUTOMATICALLY for you. You can think of it as AUTOVOLT.
