Matt,

Any further progress on the bottom feeder plans?

My biggest setback with that is finding a good drip well. I am not going to use one of those finish washers everyone puts on the cheap crap mods. I need to find something that will look real nice on wood. Any suggestions?

Pictures of what you mean by finish washers everyone uses?
I have a few ideas of things you could use if I'm thinking of the right thing!

yeh, that's ugly :)

i have 1 bottom-feeder that doesn't have a catchcup. it's milled out slightly around the 510 and can accept an o-ring to prevent leaking. it's designed for BF RDAs. not sure how it would work with disposable atties, tho. but who uses those?

I do apologize, I meant no harm. I was just trying to find out what the process was to own one of these beauties... Its been awhile since I've "thread hopped" across the ECF, so forgive me... Whew... Now can some of the owners brief me on the wonders of these DNA 20/30 mods?

Last year, I gave up on cartos & switched out a lot my various APV's & PV's for mechanical mods with silver or copper contacts... I luv sub-ohms, so its mandatory for me to keep at least 3 mods in rotation, armed with 30amp batteries & various atomizers on top. This week it was my Russian 91%, dual coil IGO-W & my Trident, but since its Friday night... I'll switch it up with my Aqua & my IGO-W3 quad coil....

I'm honestly hoping I can trade all my mechanical mods for one dependable work horse, with a pass-through option...& now that I think about it, I'm all over the map sometimes...I mean, some days I like to throw a 1.3 ohm on my MVP 2.0 or my Provari.....Or make a 2.0 ohm coil for my Vamo.... So like I said, I want to be able to "Down Size" on the 19 mods I currently own & break it down to about maybe 6 or 7 mods...(lol)

As a 5yr vaping vet, there are just some mods I'll never sell or trade, no matter how much dust they collect....So Anyhoo, I'll be on the hunt & checking this several times daily, if necessary....I'm a night owl & I'm almost sure this will be my down fall, but I do believe I deserve a nice mod for my b-day....Well if you knew my teenagers, you'd understand where I'm coming from...(lol) Happy Vapes... I would LOVE to know what's in your 5 year collection and which of those dust collectors you'd never give up!

Ummmm...

<------- her.

Use HH357's all day long, with some exceptions! Not sure there are many of us out there tho.

YIKES!!!!

mebbe i should re-phrase my original statement...

hmmm... gotta think... something new for me... :)

nah. it ain't working. i keep staring at my dish full of $20 HH357s that lasted far less than the coils i wrapped for pennies. (and i'm 62 years old, blind as a bat, and have only one working hand.)

so i spose that i'm just really saying that if Matt wants to try a BF without a catchcup (which i'd probly have to remove anyway) then i'm his huckleberry...

Nothing really grand in my collection, except they all work great. I have the same, original Altsmoke Silver Bullet & Omega mods I bought 5yrs ago (my 1st mods), my old school Provari (5yrs old) & my # 074 Richman Hybrid.....Just off the top of my head, that I know I'm never gonna sell. Unless by chance 1 of them happen to stop working.....Oh and my Nemy duo, brass (clone) & SS.... Still ...... the clone works better than the McCoy...grrr But I won't sell those either & maybe 1 or 2 other mods I picked up from unknown mad modders from my neck of the woods in Hampton Roads, Va ... Oh & my good old Splash VV from Shan. I'd never sell or trade any mod, somebody took the time to make for me. But I'm not a big spender when it comes to buying mods either.

I guess having great friends that have had my back since my aneurysm & that have helped me take on my new physical short comings, 1 day at a time... Has made me appreciate the value of a homemade mod & the friend that made it. Most, I'll probably never meet face to face in real life, but 1 thing I know for sure is....Vapers make the best Facebook friends & All Things Vaping build the best friendships....

Now, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy...nor did I ever dream, 30yrs of smoking could ever do this to me. I spread vaping where ever I go & I teach all who want to learn, before they end up like as I am. Yeah, Yeah...I know...I sound like one of those commercials, but they don't vape....(smile)

AnyHoo, I'm just happy I found this thread & once I get my grubby little hands on a DNA anything, building my own mod is next on my "To-Do" list...Well, maybe after I make my first Vape meet...(lol)... Hopefully, this year will be the year I make it to one, I've gotten rid of my old walker & graduated to using a cane full time...(applauding myself) So now I have 1 hand free to keep my fingers crossed for one of these mods..lol Goodnite Vapor Heads, Mad Modders, Wick Wizards & Mod Masters..... Time to make some new coils before the sun comes up & I pass out at the break of dawn...Happy Vapes All Around...I think we all deserve one today....

Holy crap Buzz! 1000 ton crain!?! I cant imagine something weighing 2,000,000 pounds, let alone something that can lift that. Do you lift that entire dome and set it on that round building? Hope the wind isn't too bad tomorrow. :)

Where do you find marble rings? That sounds awesome.

The Dome weighs 40 tons and the rigging is another 3 when a crane is rated thats what it will pick right next to crane Im using 69% of the cranes capacity buy the time I pick up and swing the dome on the tank. Yea darn wind we gotta pick up when its dark and be welding the shoes down at first light such a big area has some unique challenges.

Im not sure about the rings just something I know Ive seen
