Thanks, Matt, I don't mean to complain. I used them for a couple of days, and they perform beautifully. But the odor was just too much, maybe I'm just oversensitive. It hasn't been humid here in a while, so that's not the issue. I have been keeping the mods opened up on top of a cabinet. Every day I check them. It has diminished, but far from odorless yet. I am sure it will pass...

My MCM arrived today, very nice indeed. I'll use it over the next week or so before I give an in depth review, but first impressions are fantastic. The build quality is great and I'm loving variable wattage. I'm not a numbers man, I'm more interested in vape quality, but is there a way I can tell what wattage I'm vaping at? As far as the lacquer smell goes, there is a definite odour, but it doesn't bother me at this point, I'm sure it will diminish over time. Here is a picture with a triple v sidewinder tank on board:

So for mod names, wouldn't it be cool to name them after dinosaurs? Like T-rex, velociraptor, etc..

Also, doesn't really fit with the theme, but I thought that 'Hunter' would be a cool name for a mod.

Thats an awesome idea! When I sold the first 26650 mod I called it the Nomad. I think thats the name I will stick with on those. I was thinking the 18650 mods could be the Archaea. Since the 18650's were my first mods I should name them after the first organisms on earth :p

Got any good dino names?

Let's see, Iguanodon (bird-footed dinosaur), Brontosaurus (large herbivore), Spinosaurus, Megalodon, just to mention some names that are not as well known. Velociraptor, Tyrannasaurus Rex, Triceratops, and Teradactyl are more well known dinosaurs that sound cool to people. Each dinosaur has it's own personality that could be fitted to the features of the mod.

Im building a few more 26650 mods and was curious how popular this battery size is. Do you guys think I should offer a battery with the mods and perhaps a wall charger? Do you guys like the idea of a charger built into the mod? I have the wood boxes done, so if I was to put chargers in them they would have to be inside the lid like the last 26650 I made.

The Megalodon is already a mod. What about other prehistoric creatures like the Sturgeon or Gigantopithecus...

personally, i don't see the usefulness of a mod with a battery that size. An 18650 is enough for a full day, especially if you have a high resistance atty. Also, the mod feels more portable with a smaller battery, I'd feel better about taking it with me to places.

As far as chargers are concerned, I think they are really useful if they are easy to get to. I liked your suggestion about putting the charger port on the bottom of the mod. It's easy to get to and makes vaping it while charging a breeze. I wouldn't even feel it necessary to take the battery out until it wasn't holding a charge anymore.

I like Sturgeon, Gigantopithecus is too much of a mouthful.

Matador great looking mods! Any chance these can be made usig 14500 for smaller size?

I dont think a 14500 has a high enough discharge rate to be safe. Also the IMR 14500 are like 600mah. Wouldn't get a lot of vape time off that. I am working on a mod that take two 14650's in parallel, and also a mod that uses the flat Lithium Polymer packs. Those will be considerably smaller.
