Have I mentioned how much I love VW vaping?
I've only had my MCM a few days, but I thought I'd give my impressions so far.
Likes:
1. Variable wattage vaping is just sensational. I've got plenty of variable voltage devices, and they're ok, but I was just as happy using a 3.7 volt device with a low resistance carto. With VW, it doesn't matter what I screw in, the vape is just sensational.
2. The finish on this mod I'd nothing sort of superb. I can almost see my reflection in the wood. The door fits perfectly and is easy enough to remove and the varnish smell is nearly non existent.
3. The size of the mod is perfect for me. The width was my main concern, as I have other wood mods that are too wide to sit comfortably in my palm, but this is comfortable to hold and the button placement is perfect.
4. It's strong. Yes, I've already dropped it, from chest height onto concrete in fact. I don't recommend this, but the only damage to my MCM was a slight crinkling of the finish on the bottom left hand corner. I'd take a photo but the damage would be to minimal to show up on my crappy camera.
Dislikes:
1. The 510 connection has come loose and I'll need to glue it again. This was probably a result of me dropping it on concrete from 5 feet, either way it's no big deal, it'll take me 2 minutes to fix.
2. The button on mine needs to be pressed dead centre and reasonably firmly to work properly. Again, this isn't a huge issue, and I'll get used to it soon enough, but it's just different than my other devices.
What I'd like to see:
This is very trivial, because I haven't changed my wattage since the first day I got my mod. But it would be nice to have a tiny compartment inside the mod that held a tiny screw driver for adjusting wattage.
Overall:
If I had my time over would I buy this mod again? You betcha! It is a great device, very well built with a beautiful finish. The icing on the cake is the variable wattage, and it works flawlessly. I can't tell if I've got a 1.8, 2.4, or 2.8ohm atty in my Vivi Nova, and I don't care, the vape is just sensational, and at the end of the day, that's all that matters.
Very nice work Matt, very nice work indeed.
