Amazing! For those of us who are toying with the idea of buying one of these (thanks a lot, I'm a sucker for anything in high-grade wood!), can you name off the wood types in order?

From left to right..
Leopard Wood, Mora, Leopard Wood, Purpleheart, Bocote, Bocote, East Indian Rosewood, Padauk, Zebra, Padauk, Bolivian Rosewood, Bocote

The first 6 are 18650 and the other 6 are 26650

Thanks guys! I should have a few ready for sale by the end of the week.

If anyone wants a particular mod in the picture let me know and I'll work on them first. :)

The 18650 mods will be $130. 26650 mods with built in charger will be $155 and if you need a 26650 battery it will be an extra $15

Have I mentioned how much I love VW vaping?

I've only had my MCM a few days, but I thought I'd give my impressions so far.

Likes:

1. Variable wattage vaping is just sensational. I've got plenty of variable voltage devices, and they're ok, but I was just as happy using a 3.7 volt device with a low resistance carto. With VW, it doesn't matter what I screw in, the vape is just sensational.

2. The finish on this mod I'd nothing sort of superb. I can almost see my reflection in the wood. The door fits perfectly and is easy enough to remove and the varnish smell is nearly non existent.

3. The size of the mod is perfect for me. The width was my main concern, as I have other wood mods that are too wide to sit comfortably in my palm, but this is comfortable to hold and the button placement is perfect.

4. It's strong. Yes, I've already dropped it, from chest height onto concrete in fact. I don't recommend this, but the only damage to my MCM was a slight crinkling of the finish on the bottom left hand corner. I'd take a photo but the damage would be to minimal to show up on my crappy camera.

Dislikes:

1. The 510 connection has come loose and I'll need to glue it again. This was probably a result of me dropping it on concrete from 5 feet, either way it's no big deal, it'll take me 2 minutes to fix.

2. The button on mine needs to be pressed dead centre and reasonably firmly to work properly. Again, this isn't a huge issue, and I'll get used to it soon enough, but it's just different than my other devices.

What I'd like to see:

This is very trivial, because I haven't changed my wattage since the first day I got my mod. But it would be nice to have a tiny compartment inside the mod that held a tiny screw driver for adjusting wattage.

Overall:

If I had my time over would I buy this mod again? You betcha! It is a great device, very well built with a beautiful finish. The icing on the cake is the variable wattage, and it works flawlessly. I can't tell if I've got a 1.8, 2.4, or 2.8ohm atty in my Vivi Nova, and I don't care, the vape is just sensational, and at the end of the day, that's all that matters.

Very nice work Matt, very nice work indeed.

@matador, if your able to build the 14000 box mod of your just pm me the payment instructions, i really want to get one of your mods
but im really hoping to get something smaller so it will be easy to bring around in the office!:2cool:

I dont think a 14500 has a high enough discharge rate to be safe. Also the IMR 14500 are like 600mah. Wouldn't get a lot of vape time off that. I am working on a mod that take two 14650's in parallel, and also a mod that uses the flat Lithium Polymer packs. Those will be considerably smaller.

I'd love the purpleheart wood mod! My purchase depends on whether or not you plan on building chargers on the bottom of future 18650 mods. If so, then I'll wait for those. If not, mark me down for that one!

The 18650 mods im working on now wont have a charger. These mods will likely be the last ones I will be making for a few months. Im in the process of moving out of state and im not sure how long it will be till I'm in a new house. Between finding another house and a new job, it might take me a bit to get back into mod production. My house is already sold and im pre-approved for another home loan, so hopefully it shouldn't be too long till I'm ready to build again.

LOST IN THE CLOUDS-USA
Hello
I have been keeping an eye on this thread. I don't own or never have had a box mod. But have been looking for a wood box mod that I don't have to do a lot of fiddling with I'm not Mechanically inclined. But first a few questions. 1) How do you take payments? If it is Paypal ONLY. I was wondering if you would Consider taking a cashiers check. I would really love to have the 6th one over. Really if I could afford it I would like the last one too. But money is tight and I too am going to be moving. My house is making me ill. So it really makes me feel for your daughter. Thank you

Here's the deal.. consider this a Moving Sale! For those of you that dont know, I'm selling my house and moving to another state. Well, the closing of the sale is happening a little sooner than I thought. So instead of having to pack up unsold mods and risk damaging them, I've decided to discount them in hopes that they will all sell before I make my move. The 18650 mods will go for $120 Shipped and the 26650 mods I will include a battery for $160 shipped. And to top it off, the first two people to buy a mod will get a volt meter free!!
