manual batt?

Been vaping for a few months now, realized i purchased a ....ty model (Smoking Everywhere GOLD ONE). Im trying to pick out a new one but cant decide. Why does everyone here seem to prefer manual batts? Ive never tried one, im used to the auto. Could use any insight available to help me make my decision. Thanks!

I have found you have more control over your vaping, and the auto can go off with motion on ocassion.

Most autos go on by themselves due to wind, noises and motion. And like whynot said more control, no primer puff.

the auto batts are not sealed if you drip into an atty on most auto batterys the juice will get into the batt and can short it out. The hole is for air flow to activate the battery.

I use a 510 with manual batteries and drip directly on the atty with no problems

While I haven't had any problems with my auto going on by itself (it came with a great case), I have to say that I really like the vapor production of my manual passthrough while I'm at home.

When I'm out of the house, I prefer a more stealthy mode and the auto batts are great for that.

If I'm not mistaken, the manuals are a sealed battery as well, so there's less chance of juice leaking into the battery. I don't autos are sealed, due to the nature of the inhale activated switch mechanism. I also like the better control and lack of accidental activation.

Those 2 statements seem to contradict each other...

If you've been able to vape for a few months with it, it can't be that bad...


Anyway, I haven't tried any manual batteries yet, but I do find that my auto batteries are sensitive to wind, and go off by themselves when outdoors.
I'm pretty tired of that.

Just oredered myself a Riva, can't wait to get it..

Yes, my wife likes her 510 manual battery also...She likes the "staying" power of the manual....For me, the Ego auto battery is just not up to the standards as the manual Ego battery is...For vapor, TH hit, and even how long they stay charged....So, for me, manual is the only way to go, from now on....Enjoy...

Seriously Blasted, the overwhelming support for manuals is basically the 2 features covered above, i.e., more control and sealed batteries. Note also that it only takes a few minutes of vaping and the pressing the button becomes instinctive.
