I see a lot of trading companies say they are a manufacturer. Many clients ask me, " seems there are many e cigarette factories in China" I simply reply them," there is only a few real factories."

To see if a company is a factory, 1. its website will never list a price 2. to go there in person, its office usually together with their workshops. And its has R & D dept. A trading company's office will never has a workshop together. When you visit a trading company, they will always say," our factory is far from this office. " But when they bring you to a factory, the factory has a different name !

I personally, would like to know more about the whole process., from factory to buyer for resale.
How to buy in bulk, and deal with those factories, or drop shipping from them.
I know they do not normally show prices, but it would sure help.
I did some research on it, and it all seems real confusing to me.

Heard a funny story on that one, darren; which went even further then the 'tradecompany and the far-off factory they claim is theirs'.
A european trader wanting to bring e-cigs into europe contacted all the e-cig-factories in China that he could find (he thought he had only factories on his list). Then he went to China to see for himself. Sure enough, the first contact had a factory just like you are explaining darren: workshops, R&D, the lot... All looked good. Big name on billboard in front telling the factory was owned by his contact.
Ok, on to the second contact a day later. Invited to the contacts factory... here too it was all there: workshop, R&D, everything. Big billboard with the factoryname matching his contact on the frontside too.
Some other contacts, and about a week later the then next contact: Again invited to the factory of the contact. Billboard stating it was contacts factory in front, workshops, R&D, the lot...

There was just one tiny snag about all three here mentioned real factories.... all 3 times, the person had been taken to exactly the same address and exactly the same building! Seems that some factory-owners gladly help out their friends/traders, by letting their factory be transformed into seemingly the traders own factory for a day when he needs that to impress a client from abroad...

I had to laugh when I heard it: very inventive (and socialminded!) indeed, haha. But these kinds of 'creative solutions' sure don't make it any easier to find the factories out there... :D

Really, I think that's only a laugh story. Well, you contact all 3 different companies at the same time, fine, they should have 3 different names, 3 differen websites. When you come to the factory, the factory have 3 differnt name showing on the billboard ?? If the factory change the name from time to time, that's crazy, just forget it, go home.

I'm in a factory for years. And there are many trading companies coming with their clients. We never change our name to the trading company's name. i think, most of the clients will easily identify a factory and a trade company.

Anyway, from the standpoint of buyer, it does not matter if it's a factory or not. The quality and service is the most important. My factory is supplying a lot of e cigarette for the trade companies, and they are all selling well.

Anyway, we , as a factory, offering the best price and technology support.

Hi Darren... What is "untouching magnetoelectricity induct switch"? How does it works??

Well ... this guy (darren@first.union) has eliminated your contact info from the profile after my question.

I found this info in your site (Shenzhen First Union Technology Co.,Ltd. - CHINA - Manufacturer):

At present, our latest super cigarette RN4082,RN4088 is ready for distribution. We use the "untouching magnetoelectricity induct switch" on the two models , not the traditional mechanical switch (controlled by Inhaling ), which will prolong the switch life greatly. The size of the two models is more close to the real cigarette.

Any idea what is it?

i am only guessing here.. but i think it means transistor switching.. the early devices had simply mechanical suck to make switches that passed all the current to the atomizer thru the switch..

later ones seem to have transistor switching.. the suck to make switch activates a transistor switch which then feeds the power to the atomizer... kind of like how a relay works..

but allowing for chinese translation it could mean anything.. they do try and make everything sound as technical as possible..

the first part of the name is aways the location of the place.. but people do say a trip to china is needed before any big deal is done for real..
