Many Irish Vapers???

Hi everyone,

Ive just been reading threads mostly from american vapers who say they are making savings compared to cigarettes but for me and other irish smokers(and uk i guess) its 8.50euro for 20 cigs....i spend 60euro a WEEK on cigarettes and combined with my other half we spend 120 a WEEK....evaping will seriously be beneficial to my bank balance(maybe not after i make my next order!)....its so great to have found this site, i tried an ecig at toys4bigboys but knew there was something fishy bout the company...they only sell pre filled carts and super minis and were of course telling me a cart lasted 20 cigs/batt life was great! was incredibly dubious but after finding this site my mind is made up....ordered today from uk n hoping to get dse901 soooooon...

As the title suggests....can people who would like to post on this thread from ireland and if we find fast shipping/discounts/irish sites that are good we can let each other know...?

Also does anyone in ireland smoke in bars etc?had any POSITIVE comments from these places?

Hi Ghost!!!! Conas ata tu(how are you?) happy there are some irish anyway : o) wish irish prices were a lil closer to the american ones!!! My order was shipped today....got an awful disposable cig today to try it out....just wondering if when i get my juice in the post i can empty the crap from the disposable and drip my liquid in at least to get a better flavour backup???(got two so second one wont be used otherwise...)

Is there a thread out there that compares juice prices and shipping for those to uk?(sometimes even tho juice is cheaper shipping adds up)...or a site that does express international shipping(or equivalent)....

I only ordered 25ml juice so wanna get more now while waiting for kit so it will arrive when im out???

Hi Just-cass. Been vaping for over a year and a half now. When I started I bought all my gear from the UK and China and still do for the most part. So any deals I get are from there.

After my initial splurge on all things e-cig, I have settled down and tried to make it as economical as possible. Really, I don't need to buy too much stuff other than atomizers which I get from bestecig.com in China (penstyle only in units of ten every few months). I've tried pretty much every type going out and consider them probably the most decent. No need to buy anything else until someone drastically improves their design. (a completely sealed attie would be excellent)

Liquid I bought in bulk from centraltrade in china (2 litres) and have barely gone through half of that in the year I have it even after giving some away and swapping some of it out. I use one of the 'mods' - the screwdriver - which was the only one available at the time I purchased it. Now there's a huge choice out there. I have them listed on e-cignews. I would recommend picking up one of these. The manual switch is king and the bigger batts mean you won't be constantly charging and they don't fail as often as the standard e-cig batts. When I go battery shopping I use dealextreme.com.

As for Irish vapers, some poke there heads in every now and again on the forum. You will find some over on xxxxxxxxxxx.com too which is the other large english speaking e-cig forum. There's even a 'Spikey O' Vapers' thread where you can pull up a stool an mix with the de locels if your feeling a little twee ;0

Out and about, I get a mixed reaction from people when I use it. Some people think it's amazing and some people think it looks silly and potentially dangerous. I have three die-hard smokers for brothers and one sister, not one of whom I was able to convert even though I'd happily give them any gear they need -very strange (yes, they are). Outside of the house, I usually stealth vape and try to be as discreet as possible so no-one bothers me too much. The odd time, someone will ask what the hell it is though and I'll give them a demo.

Sometimes I'm glad they are not widely known in Ireland as I figure we're prime candidate for having them banned. The .gov love that tobacco tax and what with the spate of smuggling and shoppers heading up north, I figure they'd ban them in a hot minute if they thought anyone else was cutting into that racket (for our health and safety of course). Other times I think it would be excellent if they were more widely known and have thought about flogging them myself.

just a quick thought...if any irish vapers do pass through here who have smoked in public eg. in pubs, can you please report on ecig freindly places please?(or bad places!)

If any irish vapers happen to stumble upon this thread I would like to review the irish site smokewithoutfire.ie so you have an idea what they are like...

I purchased a disposable ecig there(gamucci) to try before buying my dse901 which I was told isnt a great cig so wasnt expecting much. I got an email to say that they dropped their price just after I bought so they were giving me a second one free!

I received my parcel in 3 working days in protective packaging and the product was as described. The first ecig worked fine and altho i wouldnt buy them again(not great vapour production) i didnt smoke a real cigarette in the 2 days I used it. The second died after a day but I emailed them to inform them and Alan replied super quick and informed me on the back of my email he was discontinuing stocking disposables(perhaps failure rate?) and gave me my own personal discount code for my next purchases....

The customer service was really great and I found Alan very helpful and open to suggestions(he said he is ordering liquid as I suggested that if he had it in stock in ireland and I needed some fast I would be more likely to order from this site)

His products in general seem good quality and when I purchase more from there I will review these also.....
