many n00bish questions...

Hello, Im fairly new to the forums and started vaping about 2 years ago and ended up going back to analogs about 6 months after. Long story short, i started vaping again about a week ago. There is so much new stuff now and im having a hard time searching through the forums on some information and hoping you guys could help direct me in the right direction.

I had been using standard steel atomisers in the past and came across Fluxomisers from Gotvapes, i ordered a pack and have been using them since i starting again. So far im loving them with minor problems. Even-though i love these things, i was curious if there was a better type of CE2's (CE3?) to try out, or did i pick the right supplier? I work a 10 hour, 6 day a week job and i dont want anything to big that may get damaged in my type of work environment (mechanic, strong tubes but they still pull apart). I currently use a 510 setup, standard 180mwh batteries and a passthrough.

Ohms.. something new to me on a PV standpoint. I understand ohms law, however, what preforms better on 3.7v devices, i dont prefer to carry around a rather bulky battery pack.. 2.5.. 3.2?...

DIY.. i found some really nice information over making your own e-juice. Doe's anyone have a preference over suppliers.. specifically liquid nicotine and really good recipes to start out with, preferably cost efficient. There's just so much to chose from!

And finally, My wife seams to be allergic to PG, so i ordered a 30ml of Boba's Bounty VG to try out (im sure ill love it). Soo.. What would be a good starter kit (that's in stock) for a "feminine" type of woman. Something small, good lasting battery and a no-hassle re-filling system, preferably a CE2 type or better? (not a fan of Poly filled cartridges)

I thank you for any direction you guys could offer, i been search up and down this site for a week, 100's of pages later and im still having problems catching up to this technology Also, if you guys could, show me some direct links to the products, when i google 'KGO', i end up with 1000's of vendors and would like a good brand and not a knock off ><

Are the standard atomizers ok with the KGO?

510 atomizer or carto as well as LR 306 atomizers will work on it. It's a great PV IMHO and a friend just bought one and is VERY happy.

Slim batteries use standard resistance 2.5 to 3 ohms and that's it. Most popular on 510 are Boge 3 ohm. Most popular on KR808D-1 are probably V4L cartos and the SmokelessImage/Bloogplanet ones

For batteries 450mah+ 3.4-3.7v the most popular cartomizers and Boge 2 ohm. Currently popular are power-hungry dual coil cartos (vaping 2 standard resistance coils at once) - very power intensive and use a lot of juice and many think they should only be used on mods (systems with removable protected or AW IMR industrial batteries)

There are few setups other than dripping that work well with thick juices so somebody else will have to answer what will work with Boba's.

@the KGO suggestion.. is that a 510? If so. Ill have to find some Boge 3.0ohm Cartos .. I'm also new to cartos, you use a drip tip with these and no need for cartridges correct? I plan on ordering the KGO and accessories for the wife today, would like to get everything she needs (and get her off analogs asap)

Also, what is the standard life of a cartomizer?

I heard the same thing, and i heard cutting with with some distilled water works ok to thin it out... or am i wrong? Ive only used 100% PG and i understand VG is much thicker (one minor issue using a fluxomiser, tends to flood easy)

The Kgo is a 510 thread, but uses a larger battery, which gives you much longer charge life. You can use LR cartos on the Kgo, eGo, an Riva. You can cut VG with PGA (pure grain alcohol), the kind you drink. You can add some water, but 10% water is the general recipe. Too much and you will dilute the flavor and vapor production. It's best to use all pg juices or juices down to 70pg/30vg. Some people say they get good results down to 50/50, but it depends on the type of juice and its thickness. Sweet and sugary juices dont' work well in cartos because of caramelization.

Cartos can last a week with the right juices or 2 to 3 days with thicker juices. The best juice mix for a carto is 100% PG.

Yes. Catridges are used with atomizers and it's "usually" easier to start with cartomizers. Afterwards if you* she wishes you can upgrade to a tank for under $15.00 to be used with cartomizers.

I get about 40- 50 ml out of one carto- should last at least 1 week.

Distilled water can be used but some report it very harsh on the throt
PG= TH, Lung Hit and Flavor enhancer
VG= vapor
Nicotine= TH, Lung Hit and our need for nicotine.
Most pre made juices are either 70/ 30 or 80/ 20 PG/ VG and it works quite well.

Yes drip tips are essential IMO because:
they prevent hot splatters of juice hitting the lips
they protect the lips if the cartomizer gets hot
easier to pry off the drip tip then use a paper clip to pry the supplied plastic/ silicon caps.

My wife is allergic to PG sadly, that's why i ordered a 100% VG base. With this in mind, should i still be looking at a KGO and Cartos using 100% VG (due to caramelization)? Any suggestions are welcome and thanks again for all your help guys.

There are some vapers that are allergic to PG and what they've done is dilute the thick VG based juice with PGA, distilled water or vodka. If she has allergies it's prolly best she use distilled water IMHO.Just very careful as to how much you add. You would have to dilute it enuff so it flows through the cartomizer. I'm NOT advising this but some that have problems with PG have been ok with a lower level of PG. Many here vape with a heavy VG mix so you should be good to go.
